since this is the texas forum... is anyone going to the ronnie coleman classic next month.. ??? i am trying to figure out what to expect from it... i have never been to a show

i will be attending and billet works should be there as well. it is going to be interesting with figure criteria changing again. not sure what to tell you to expect other than getting motivated by someone you see there.

kila welcome to the thread.

post your class you are planning to compete in? areas of opportunity? mine are my shoulders and quad sweep. been focusing for a year, they have come up, but still need more - by my standards. the current judging - figure without legs!! no sweep on the top arnold competitors - pro and amateur.

Not much hun...just doin my thing. I'm in town, but will be back out of town in a couple of weeks for a few days. Have a big comp I'm sponsoring in south/east Tennesee to make an appearance at. I'm still making strong progress, trimming the waist down and leaning up all over without losing a ton of size. Need more back tho! Back used to be my fav for a long time...now I love them all equally. See ya soon...but not soon enough!

Much success to you in Tennesse. Awesome on the progress. I am enjoying my last bit of free eating on a weekly limit. Last night was popcorn night. Prep time starts soon and will go through October. I go slow to make slow fat loss and maintain my muscle. That's the name of the game is preserving all the work you put into the game. I have already started my cardio schedule that will increase when prep starts.

Needing more back? Depth? Thickness? Your width is looking good. I used to feel I didn't have to work my back and now I am re-thinking that. Same with hamstrings. Mine are still SORE from Monday and tomorrow is quads.

What is the body part that has tied with back on training for you?

I am digging training shoulders. Back is ok. Chest is ok. Quads up there. Hams up there. I am working to get that X factor. If I can put on some decent size on next year, I may crossover and do a natural bb show. Granted for me hitting below 10% BF put me below 139 lbs. I am too tall for a middle weight!

Not really needing more back...just love back Honestly, for years, I longed for back day along with deadlifts and squats with a lustful desire. Nowadays, I'm just flat out addicted to pushing each and every body part to the edge. I still love my favs but hams, quads, chest, shoulders, arms, calves, abs, forearms, you name it, I love hittin it.

I'd like to see you cross over to natural BBing...it's gonna take some blood, sweat, and tears though...and a lust for pain...I can help with that.

that was my first passion and love. my heart is still there with bodybuilding. i have grown tremendously over the past three years with training. i am sure if i keep this mental focus, i can easily crossover. right now, my training partner and i just changed up the routine for muscle confusion. i hate these days b/c it seems right when your weights are increasing, the change comes and it seems to make you feel like you set yourself back.

with that being said, you really aren't set back, but the gains become steady streamed, which i love. so i will keep pressing hard at it. i will land where i am suppose to. we should get together at Stroud's sometimes.

yeah i used to go to la fitness off of I-20 but now i workout at home that i know wtf i am doing XD but who knows, i get bored easily so i may join another gym for a lil change in scenery once i get tired of runnin in the streets =P

i have thought about joining LA, but aren't all commerical gyms about the same? lol! so i am just going to stick with my usual location til June.

i have lived that life before. thanks for the compliment. working hard to represent you guys at my next show. glad you had an awesome workout today. i am looking forward to meeting my gym partner to do a circuit workout. we are going to focus on smaller body parts and working a nice pump.

Shoulders, and today is bi's, tri's,. then off day, then back on with legs.
I'm sure you do well represtin the Df-dub.

I live in Dallas (Uptown/Oak Lawn). Work out at Diesel Fitness now, used to work out at Energy Fitness in West Village. I live one block away from the gym so I have no excuse.
