Smile A Review of Gaspari's Cytolean by: FitClubMom

I would like to start this post out by mentioning that I have a really hard time taking fat burners in general. My body does not like them. One of several, and sometimes all, of the following side effects occur when I take fatburners...

1. I get very jittery. Not mildly jittery... crazy jittery, where my hands shake uncontrollably.

2. I get very sick to my tummy. There have even been times when I throw up after taking fat burners.

3. I become a raving, psychotic lunatic. Not just a little crabby, but snapping at everyone and everything; for no reason!

4. I crash HARD. Sometimes I get scared that I will fall asleep at the wheel. I have even had to pull my car over and close my eyes and take a power nap.

5. I get really bad headaches. These headaches occasionally turn into migraines.

There are other, less troublesome side effects, but these are the major ones. So why do I keep trying them, when I obviously know my reaction? Well, I guess I'm a little dumb, a little crazy, a little desperate, and a LOT determined to find something that works for me and doesn't have the above side effects. I know there has to be something out there that works and doesn't have these side effects. The closest I have ever been was when I took Lean System 7 and MX-LS7. As long as I started out slow and gradually increased my dosage to 2 tablets 2X per day I was pretty okay at keeping most of the side effects at bay. The problem with Lean System 7 was two-fold... the dandelion in the formula and the slight crash when it wore off. Dandelion is used as a natural diuretic. Unfortunately people with gall bladder problems (like me) can't take it because it also increases bile and can bring on gall bladder attacks. So I had to take it very sparingly. With MX-LS7 they took out the dandelion and added several other ingredients. My tummy didn't hurt anymore, but the crash was much more noticeable with it.

Others that I have tried are: Hydroxycut, Hydroxycut HardCore, Hydroxycut Max, Thermodynamx, Scorch, Venom Hyperdrive, Slim Quick, Zantrex, Lipo 6, Trim Spa, and I'm sure there are others that I can't think of off the top of my head. So, it's safe to say that I have tried a LOT of them, with the same results.

So I was at the supplement store and once again explaining to the guys who worked there, just how sensitive I was to stimulants, yet wanting to find something to give me a little extra edge in my fitness goals. The guy asked me what other products I take and if caffeine bothered me. I told him that caffeine (in normal amounts) doesn't seem to bother me too much. I was a diet coke-aholic for years :-). I also mentioned some other supplements I take such as CLA, Sesamin, Fish Oil, CoQ10, a multi-vitamin, and SuperPump 250. He told me that Gaspari had a fat burner that he and his wife really liked and that she was really sensitive to stimulants too and was able to take this with no problem. The product was Cytolean. And I, of course, bought a bottle to test it! :-)

I am now on my 5th day of Cytolean and I absolutely LOVE it!! It is everything that it claims to be! I am already taking the max dosage of two pills in the morning and two pills in the afternoon with NO side effects! The first day I took one pill in the morning. About 35 minutes later I noticed I was extremely focused. It was an odd feeling, but not a bad feeling! I wanted to get up and do something... anything... work out... run... lift... something! :-) No jitters, no upset tummy, no headaches, no crankiness, no crash! So I am already getting excited about this product. The next morning I took 1 pill in the morning and 1 pill in the afternoon. Same results as the first day. Very focused, clean energy, and no side effects. The third day I took 2 pills in the morning and 1 pill in the afternoon. I was expecting to have at least some side effects because of how fast I had increased the dosage... but nope... nothing bad. The focused, happy, feeling increased but that is certainly not a negative... it's positive! Yesterday I really decided to push the limits and increased to the max dosage. I have NEVER been able to to take the max dosage in a stimulant based fat burner, ever! So I was fully prepared to tell my boss that I wasn't feeling good and go home. But I didn't need to, because there were NO bad side effects! Today, I did the same thing, and purposely cut down on my food intake to see if that would make a difference. The only thing that happened was my body let me know that it was time to eat. Which it does any time I don't eat enough.

I am so impressed with this product that I wanted to write a review of it, which is a first for me! :-)

So here are my scores:

Effectiveness: 10/10
Energy: 10/10
Focus: 10/10
Side Effects: NONE!
Fat Loss: TBD I am only on day 5 so I will update this when I have finished the 30 days.
Satisfaction with product: 10/10 I will definitely be purchasing more of this!

Day 6

Still loving the Cytolean. There is one thing that I have noticed. I am seeing a few more break-outs than normal. Not sure if it is the Cytolean or not, but I drink a gallon of water per day, so I know my liquid intake is good! It's a small thing really, especially considering the side effects I normally have!

Also, I was down 1/2 a pound this morning. :-) So 1 pound in total since starting the Cytolean. But I don't have a lot to lose anyway. I am down to those dreaded last 10 pounds :-) (well, 9 pounds now) lol

Are increased break-outs normal with Cytolean?

I think I went a little overboard in leading up to the actual review, but I was trying to give a complete background history so that people realized just what a big deal this really was! :-) I used to recommend Lean System to everyone, because the side effects were relatively minor. Now, I am telling EVERYONE about Cytolean!! There are a lot of gals on the blogs that have the same problem I do, and are waiting for my review, so hopefully some of these ladies try it. It's worth it!

Wow! Very detailed review - thanks for the feedback and your time.

On the issue of acne - nothing in Cytolean should cause this. But anytime you make changes to your diet, adding or subtracting calories and/or macros, you can elicit changes in your body's internal chemistry. It's hard to say exactly what might be causing this, but I'd just keep your water intake up and give extra attention to keeping your face and pores clean.

Thumbs up Great review thanks for posting!

Like yourself, I have had the hardest time finding a fat burner that didn't cause nasty side effects. All those you listed..same with me. It's horrible.

So I am excited to hear Cytolean has worked for you. I am sensative to caffine so I will have to give it a test..work up from small does and see where that takes me.

Thanks again and keep us posted on your success with it =)

Day 7

I am on day 7 and still taking the full dosage with no problems. I think the minimal break-outs I was getting were caused by something else, because they have gone away and I don't have any new break-outs. Energy levels are still high... mood is still elevated... appetite control is good... this stuff is really great!

Yesterday and today I felt the beginnings of a slight headache, although I wouldn't even call it that... more like that feeling you get when you know a headache is coming. But no headache has materialized.

I will keep posting as the days pass. I will also post a before and after picture at the end of the 30 days. I am also eating very clean, working out 6 - 7 days per week and drinking a gallon of water per day.

:-)

Thanks for the response |ceman... I agree with you, I don't think it was the Cytolean, and even if it was the breakouts have already cleared up so it was only for a day or two. Negligible in my book! :-)

This is a great product and the first one that has ever worked for me without side effects, so I am very excited about it!

Thanks for stopping by and reading this post! I don't do well with caffeine that isn't natural or high amounts of caffeine either. And this stuff doesn't make me jittery at all! Even taking the max dosage I haven't gotten jittery. Definitely try it! I think you will really like it!

Great Review!

I just sent you a note asking how you liked Cytolean before I saw your post. I appreciate it very much. I have all the same issues...my poor husband.

I will have to give Cytolean a try.

Tried Cytolean

I'm on Day 5 of Cytolean. I don't feel anything - not good, not bad, not energized, not tired, not calm, not hyper, not hungry, not full. I just feel 100 % the same as I normally do. I take 2 in the am and 2 at 1:30-ish. I don't feel like I'm taking anything so I hope it's working. I'm very sensitive to fat burners and I get jittery or antcy. I'm almost now starting to wonder if it's a placebo or something because I feel nothing. I guess the true test will be when I step on a scale. This is kind of confusing to me???

It's not a jittery type of energy, so you may not "feel" much. But hopefully the appetite suppression is kicking in for you and if you are taking your servings 30 minutes before a meal, you should find yourself eating less.

You could bump it up to 3 capsules at a time, as that is a full serving, based on your tolerance.
