Type of carbs affecting body composition

I have some leaks in my diet, and I am mainly getting all my carbs from oats, wheat bread, and brown rice. Is getting all my carbs from these sources affecting the way my body is? compared to carbs from fruits and veggies? I want have more balance with my carbs, but I am not sure the amounts of each to add into my diet.

The carbs you mentioned are complex carbs, which are slower digesting, you can add simple carbs around your workout pre/post to spike insulin to help in building muscle mass. Simple carbs are things like white bread, sugar, fruit juice etc

This may affect composition by building more muscle, you'll have to figure out the amount of carbs you need as it depends on a lot of things, like bulking, cutting, weight etc
