what is the best Vince Gironda Routine for a beginner ?
rite i got a good one
what is the best Vince Gironda Routine for a beginner ?
The Diet is essential to this cause Vince Gironda
always thought that 85% of Bodybuilding was
Nutrition.
The Best Workout Routine to go with his famous
set and rep systems.
This routine should add slabs of muscle in the
shortest amount of time and be suitable for a beginner.
This is typical Gironda fashion.
The answer should contain several ways to inhance the
workout's intensity after the 1st workout routine is complete.

Thinking about making the switch!...
... from competing in Figure to Bodybuilding. So I could use some tips. What the true differences are. How do you know if it's really for you. Who would make a good candidate for it, etc.

TOTW suggestions
1. Can vegetarian bodybuilders/fitness models achieve muscle mass and gains? What are the daily nutritional and fitness staples to stay energized and build muscle tone/definition?
2. Yoga and it's impact on bodybuilders. Is it really important to start incorporating yoga into the weekly training schedule. If so, which yoga types are the most beneficial?
3. What are some of the everyday things we do to harm the environment when we pursue our health and fitness goals? For example, eating and drinking water from plastic, driving to the gym, buy ready made salads and consuming coffee from Starbucks twice a day. What are some easy things we can change to be more "green"?
4. Post competition blues. They eat, sleep, train and compete. But what about after? What are the symptoms and how can it be prevented or minimized.

Everyone wants to avoid injury so that they can continue to train so:
Does the use of sauna's/hot tubs reduce the chance of injury? If so are they better pre/post workout? Why?

I would like to figure out how one can avoid muscle/bone injury &/or how one personally treats their injuries (i.e. taking few days off, a week, or maybe working out with lighter than usual weight).

What type of music is optimal for lifting weights? For cardio?
Emphasize the importance of various factors such as: bpm, style, lyrics (or lack of lyrics, for that matter), etc.

The importance of vitamin and mineral supplementation to support working out. Also discuss common negative consequences of not supplementing properly.

Uff!! So many people have varying views on this, so I change my rest periods every week varying from 30 seconds to 120..it also depends on how much weight I'm lifting. Heavier weights and lower reps need longer rests.

Lay off the meat..seriously! it's pumped full of growth hormones which have been proved to cause aggression. Try using pea protein or something similar for a few months and see if you feel any differently. Additionally, most whey or egg proteins are extracted using a chemical process which leaves a lot of nasty toxins and they are also full of artificial sweetners and flovourings while as its easy to get hold of organic, non GM pea or hemp protein.

Body Building Suppliments Whats Hot and Whats Not
There are allot of body building suppliments out there but do we really know what really works? When purchasing you want to make your money be worth the purchase of a product at the same time you want to see results. I have been reading expirementing with different suppliementations stacking and mixing and i have found a couple of things that work together but what are the individual suppliments that work alone and aid in bringing out the results that you are looking for. If anyone have any idea of whats hot and works and whats not please let me know. From stacking i can tell you No2 Shotgun and Vitrex Creatine are two winning combinations as well if you want to lean up as well as maintian size Universals animal stack and venom are a good combination.

I was reading your Question i think so if they are as motivated as you and are willing to put in the work. I feel we worry too much about mixed genders and mixed everything. If you both have or all have the same fitness goals whats wrong with it? Seeing the results afterwards makes you hungery for other personal workouts (cardio) that is away from the gym atmosphere. For me i love to see partners mixed or not working together and i love to see a fit woman.

How can one even out symetrical differences?
How can one even out Symetical differences in bodyparts???
I know recently we had "how to bring up a lagging bady part" but when asking this, I mean perhaps having one arm or pec be slightly larger then the other. As a big name example, Jay Cutler's quads are two different sizes.

I'd be interested in this as well!
Right now, my right (dominant) side looks smaller than my left. More visible in my arms, but legs look that way, too. Measurements, however, show they are near identical. I will have a better assessment once I'm done with my MuscleTech body transformation. Easier to see what/how my muscles differ with all the fat out of the way.
Vote +1
Thanks!

1. Members are able to give a long and detailed answer. It can't just be a question that can accept a "yes" or "no" simple answer.
2. A question should not have an obvious answer that nobody could debate. Example: "Should you bench press if you want to build your chest?"
3. It should be a topic that many people would be interested to learn about.
Thanks for your help!

Yes but Number 2 is not so black and white when you are talking about flat benchpress and you factor in the risk of pec tear.
