Problems with number 2 :( Reps for help
So I am 4 weeks pre contest and right now my carbs mainly come from oats and some sweet potatos to a total of 200g a day, I also eat a lot of green veggies during the day. BUT I noticed that since I switched mainly to oatmeal as my carb source (compared to rice, pasta, bread before) I am extremely constipated. Like I can only go once every 2 days or so
I also eat 2 serving of fibre 1 cereal a day and drink 3L of water.
So what can cause this sudden change of my bowl movements?
Can it be that I eat my oats dry? So that come to about 240g of dried uncooked oats a day.

where you also eating the fiber one when you got most of your carbs from sources other than oats/sweet potatoes? if i remember correctly that stuff has like 28gr of fiber per cup. if you're eating that in addition to the oats you're probably taking in way too much fiber over the course of the day. not getting enough fiber can cause constipation but so can too much. try cutting down on the fiber one and see if that helps.

I had the same problem recently, being on an ultra low carb diet. 7 weeks in when I started taking Creatine, I noticed that it actually HELPED the problem!

Nop no creatine for me, and I've always took 2 serving of fiber 1 no mater if bulking or cutting.
I was thinking is it possible that since I eat so much raw oats and oats absord water they just kinda get stuck in my digestive system absorbing all the moisture around a clogging the pipes? I mean usually when you cook oats they suck a all the water in and become a lot bigger.
Kinda like if you feed dry rice to birds and if they eat a lot their stomachs can explode.

how much protein are you eating? if you're doing contest prep i'm assuming quite a bit. if its alot more than usual that could be the problem. taking in too much can cause backups, for me anyhow.

Take a quick lax lol, I did that with carb deprivation and like a gallon of water to lose weight in wrestling and it makes your stomach flat. I also went swimming in a cold pool to burn actual calories, and sat in a hot tub for my water weight.

How long have you been "constipated" for?
If you're going every other day now, what was your routine before?
When you do have a BM, is it hard or painful to pass?

Well I used to go every day, now its every second day and it is quite hard to pass, like I really got to force. I am thinking of getting some Sodium Docusate to soften it all.

Could you not increase your water intake? Might cause issues with water retention in a Comp but your eating so much fibre and its probably absorbing all the available moisture causing your "blockade". Try eating figs, dark chocolate or licorice. These could help you out in the short term. Figs in my experience are very good.

Get yourself a Psyillium Husk supplement, this will clear you out.
Since it will add a soft moist "volume" to your stools!
