I just stopped wearing shirts.
Hehehe... seriously though, there are some that you can get with an "athletic cut". Are you trying to buy a dress shirt or just a general t-shirt?

That is one of the tough things about buying clothes when you're a bodybuilder. The average retailer doesn't have clothing with waistlines under 32" unless you shop at A&F or the GAP. I went to WalMart once to buy some dress pants, and I kid you not, I found more 40-50 " waistband pants than I did 28-30". And then when you buy 30" waist band pants (particularly jeans), the thighs are too narrow, so you have to be relaxed-fit jeans so that you're comfortable.
Ted ( Fletch) and I had to get our tuxedos for our respective weddings altered, because it looked like we were wearing black boxes. So the tailor tapered the waist on the coat, and narrowed the waist on the pants. It bothered us that our brides had their dresses custom fitted, but tuxedos (since often they're rented off the rack) look like crap on a bodybuilder. That's the difference between renting and buying. So... we had to buy ours. And I think we did well!

I have 26" thighs and I'm 6'0 and 226lbs with a 34" waist. I can't afford to keep buying pants that are 75-100 dollars.. I bought all the jeans and colors from express, american eagle, and aeropostale that fit me. Is there any other jeans that are decently priced that will fit me. I really don't feel like spending 75 dollars on a pair of jeans all the time.

Update
Wow. Im glad to see this thread alive and kicking. Its been three years since i posted this. and i went back and re-read the thread due to recent responses. And I actually said Im not a bodybuilder.
Three shows later......and one on the horizon....hahahaha.
As far as shirts go, the ahtletic fit + 1 size does work, SCOTT. I was at an outlet mall and they had an ESPRIT outlet store and I racked up on the long sleeve button ups in athletic fit. they were perfect. I thought Esprit was for girls and never knew they were still around. Who cares, the stuff works.
Im still challenged with pants. Im about 20 pounds bigger than when I started this post. And Im still 5ft7. Haha. But I think the key is to find a good tailor or go to the relaxed fit. I have a few pairs of relaxed fit that work.
Now I just need offseason and onseason wardrobes.
