Good idea, though I think if people aren't posting on this thread it's unlikely we'll find them posting elsewhere.

Went to the gym today for a grueling moderate/high intensity cardio workout on the elliptical, 30 minutes. My legs hurt!

First off thanks to Marco for PMing me, much appreciated. Secondly an apology to my fellow Ocho-ers, I fell off the wagon due to stuff getting hectic in my personal life and I kind of disappeared from here. I know I won't be winning this contest by any means but I'm at least going to see it out. I'll try to take pics tonight or tomorrow and post along with stats (I haven't stepped on scale in weeks). Thanks again yall and sorry. Hope the rest of yall are doing better than me!

Here we go...we're picking back up! Today is an off day for me. Hit chest, bis, and tris hard over the last two days. Next up will be shoulders/traps, legs, and back. I'm switching up the workouts a bit and upping the cals a couple hundred to see if I can't break this 194-196 stuff. We'll see!
KEEP AT IT!

How is everyone. good I hope. I just wanted to encourage everyone to keep going keep pushing this thing. I read something either on this thread or a different one that kind of had me .......... concerned.
It was someone saying that they know there not gonna win this thing. Win what thing? Is there a prize being awarded that I don't know about? would be my questions. From all the comments posted from everyone including myself we are all trying to get in the best shape of our lives, most if not all of us as a result of life and unhealthy habits have more than a few lbs of fat to lose and need to strengthen and tighten up our bodies, then is a lifetime event not a 3 month affair. Those who are serious as most on this site are, I take it, are gonna do this no matter if recognition or monetary rewards are offered. I've been so focused that I sometimes forget were actually in a contest/challenge. This challenge is just for motivation/encouragement to help reach your fitness goals. I've seen too many people close to me with too many serious health problems to want to be that way.
Sorry for the raging rantings, I think my diet is getting the best of me, not to mention I just got laid-off, I'll be more positive
peace

So today was quite scary. I was in the middle of anatomy lab and started feeling my chest fluttering and became all sweaty. I took my pulse and it was way above average. After sitting down for a few the pulse returned to normal and I stopped sweating. I doubt it has to do with the preservative used in our anatomy lab dissection, and is more nutrient based.
I recently started using a program called NutriCalc to keep track of my food intake and make sure I'm getting enough calories and calories from the right sources. However, I never paid too much attention to my mineral intake, and from the report it looks like my potassium and magnesium levels are way below normal. I know bananas, green leafy vegetables, and cruciferous vegetables have potassium, but what can I add to my diet that is magnesium-rich?

Had heart palpitations again, ended up in the hospital tonight. My doctor told me until he could see me that I should refrain from exercise. I'm seeing him Monday.
Why the **** do I get sick whenever I try to do something to improve my health? Is it like my body doesn't want me to be slim? This blows

Man, sorry to hear it. Take care of yourself and listen to the doc. Just keep the diet clean and catch up on some R & R in the meantime. I wish you all the best and I'm sure you'll get through this bro!
Just weighed in today: 193.5 lbs.
I finally broke the plateau I had been on for a few weeks, so that's good. Have a good one all!

For sure man, enjoy it and happy b-day to the woman! Typically, my fiancee and I have a 'cheat meal' every Saturday night and things have still been going relatively well here. Only problem I have regarding cheat meals right now? Deciding between KFC or Chipotle for this evening!
