I'm in. I'm 6'1" 334, and have been working out and eating right religiously for the past 3 weeks. I've welcomed the lifestyle change. I don't have a camera to take pics but i'll be subbing to the thread and updating weekly.

Hey 300 club, this is my first post here. Need some community support to help get the ball rolling.
5'10"
275
50" chest
42" waist
Haven't lifted for a few years, and I've never been in good cardio shape. I have been lurking fitness sites for a few weeks, and have some ideas for workout plans.
1. walking / light cardio (shooting hoops, etc)- 1 hr per day
2. bodyweight exercises - yoga for regular guys routine for general fitness and flexibility
Once I've proven to myself that I can stick with it, I'll start gym shopping. I'm pretty set on doing SS since I have never "really" lifted and I would like to build a solid foundation.
Also working on eating much better - oatmeal, lean meats, fruits and veggies, few sweets/alcohol. Using Fitday and targeting <2500 kcal.
I know that I have potential, and with some work I can make easy gains. I have lost 30+ lbs in the past and hope to lose 75 this year.

I was 386 pounds this time last year so I think I qualify for this. I got diabetes and spent a week in the hospital because of it. Came out and started the normal Hoo Ha with that, Insulin Shots, a Butt load of Pills and the pain full finger pricks 100 times a day, well to date Im down to 275 and have not had insulin in 3 months. My doctor said that very few people ever get away from all the shots and stuff involved with diabetes. I went from a 50-52 pants to a comfortable 42. I work out 6 times a week and just started weight training. Ive been doing that for about 7 weeks now. Ive noticed that my weight drop has slowed a lot with the weights but I have toned up a lot and am really enjoying it My wife has lost about 60 pounds and my oldest son (10) has lost about 25 pounds. Its amazing to see just how much what I do affects the rest of the family.
Dont have a clue on all the BMI and all that stuff and to be honest dont really uinderstand much of it. I know all my vitals are perfect and Cardio is pretty good and is getting better all the time...

390lbs 6'7".
Was 445 at my heaviest and got to 375 at my lowest. That was in June of 08'. Stopped working out due to work, and lazyness overall. I am regularly going again and more determined than ever. I just need to learn some correct foods to eat while retaining muscle and losing fat. Also, some good supplements as well. Currently taking:
-Tribulus
-Psyllium Husk
-Flaxseed Oil
-Glutamine Powder
-Super Amino 3000
-Super NOS Pump
-Amino Fuel (mixes in with my water while working out)

Down to 319#. I've had to let my upperbody weight training go for a week+ because I hurt my left elbow being a guinea pig for our school's heavyweight wrestler. My ligaments/tendons or whatever are a little too old to take that beating I guess. I did just get a recumbent bike for at home, so I have no excuse on the cardio.

Down to 318. Feeling pretty good. There is a Bod Pod not too far away, so I think I am going to do that and see what my exact body fat % is.

I used to weight 350lbs. Now I am currently at 170lbs, took 10 months. Never felt better in my life! I do have loose skin and I proble will have to get it removed. Either way, id rather have loose skin ANY DAY over being fat. If any 1 has any before and after pics of surgery please PM me.

Yall still with me?
I dropped 17 or so Jan-Feb. March seems like the weight isn't coming off as quick... so I'm going to chill on the scale for a couple of weeks and keep grinding. I'm in a couple pair of pants that I couldn't get in for a couple months so thats good.

309 down from a max of 325. I was 300, but that was after three weeks of not eating anything one week of which I was in the hospital (major catabolism). I've kept my eating under control the past month and I'm pretty certain the weight I've gained back is mostly muscle as I've been hitting the gym hard four days a week and my muscles are much more hard and filled out, though covered by a significant amount of disgusting blubber. ;P
I'll be doing a log starting next month once all the sups I'm getting arrive.

A little bump.
I had a setback and gained some weight back when I hurt my right shoulder and stayed out of the gym for a couple of weeks. I stick to a better diet on those days I actually workout.
Today I will go back in the gym, so making a big push.

Hi,
I'm not over 300, but I'm 247, 6 ft., which is still a long ways to go. I will be dropping by to support you guys and hopefully pm all of you to keep you motivated as I learn more about the site. We all have big goals (and bellies) so lets support one another.

currently 231 and powerlifting in the 242 wt. class. Headed for the 198 for next year (muscle is a beautiful thing)
IMHO weekly pics will be counter productive. Monthly makes more sense.
Best of luck guys!
