I do a lot of seated military barbell press and behind the neck barbell press. Should I continue to do those seated to gain Mass/Width or should I do them standing?
And also, how can focus on gaining width on my bi's? I have good profile size but straight on, they lack width.
Thanks

military presses are great...i would say mix in some dumbbells to give the muscles something different
width on biceps~ try some inner curls with a EZ bar..put your hands in the middle of the bar...maybe 1/2 inch apart

my shoulders just seem to lag like hell
heres my routine
5x5 millitary press
5x5/3x5 power cleans
2x8-12 lateral rasies
2x8-12 front raises,
they wont grow and it looks silly having decent biceps and triceps and awful delts

What is the best lift for length on biceps? Can you add length and peak at the same time?

I honestley feel that you can not directly isolate the biceps to get peak or length. It depends on your genetics. Mind-muscle connection is key. Good form all attribute to the over all development.
Barbell Curls 4 sets x 8-12 reps
Preacher curls 4 sets 8-12 reps
Hammer Curls 4 sets 8-12 reps.....
*If you want alternate hummer curls with concentration curls....Do this as a triset.

Throw some rear dealt movements in there, and I wouldn't do powercleans they are more of a power movement than a mass builder.

help me out man!
I want to get into competing but I know almost nothing about competitions. so i go and flex on stage? hahah thats all I know. I don't really tan well, but I'm not too worried about that. Do i have to pay to get into one? DO i need to hire a photographer or do i get one? Is hydroxycut a good idea in the last month prep to a contest?

Your huge. My question is: How much weight do you need to slash prior to a competition before actually getting up on stage?

I personally stay around 10% bf off season because I find if I have to cut to much fat off alot of muscles going to come with it. I'm 12-15 pounds away from stepping on stage at all times!
as you get bigger you can go a little bit higher, ALL experts will say to never get above 15% bf though!

haha yeah well it defantly varies from person to person. I'm a hardgainer. Where I'm at I can gain two pounds of muscle a month, or is I try REAL hard I can get like 4 pounds of muscle with 5 pounds of fat, so I just choose to stick to a 4k calorie diet and get the solid 2 pounds per month with minimul fat.

everyone has a different offseason plan...many just decide to eat a sloppy calorie filled diet until 4 months out..then they bust their asses on the treadmill and in the kitchen. I found this years 3 month prep MUCH easier than last years because my diet was relatively the same without the 2 cheat meals a week...if you get used to eating clean year round it defiantly improves your overall gains..i came in at 150lbs in 2007, and 166 in 08' 100% natural....so i am a believer

thats right! people would be amazed at how much muscle comes off with fat! Clean bulk, stay lean, living a healthy lifestlye, looking GOOD all year round, then walking on stage bigger then last year!
sounds almost to good to be true! all you have to do is eat well ALL year round. (which most highly competitive athletes do, EXCEPT alot of bodybuilders!)
