I second that. Win or lose, I manage to get motivated, break a few personal records, get back on the weightlifting wagon at full force and try new products. I never really gave MT a chance before, but I'm definitely a customer now. I'll be using Halo forever now - end of story.
Like you, auman, I never used bb.com, except to buy. The contest really opened up the other half of the side and what an amazing side it is - I'm so glad I deleted my myspace and facebook a month or two before I joined the contest. This place has an active environment and everyday I take something new from it.

This is about changing my life for the better, and the money and/or free Muscletech suppliments is just icing on the cake!

I hear ya, bro! MY waistline has gotten so much tighter than before and now every morning I look forward to working out. I use to HATE leg days before this contest, but now I love them more than any other day - if that isn't a prize on it's own, what is?
There is still time to etch that hard look, even after the contest is over, before summer arrives, and win or lose, I'll still be motivated to continuously give my best. I know you will be too, Charles! For once in our lives, we can be those "guys" who parade a hot city street without a shirt on!

Once you go halo - you can never go back! I've done some routines where I KNEW by normal standards I should wake up shore and literally crawling out of bed, but with halo I've been able to get up with an incredible recovery rate. Bah, I sound like an MY commercial, but honestly, of all their products I've tried so far, I'll back halo up 100%!

Still truckin
Hey everyone! Just finished week five and I'm totally stoked with my results so far! Gettin ripped fast... I gotta say it's really refreshing to see such great sportsmanship and mutual support on this forum! I feel proud to be in this competition with ya'll. I'm using Anabolic Halo, Creakic hardcore, Nano vapor, Hydroxycut, and a die hard attitude. The Muscletech sups are working great! Keep up the hard work, don't give up, don't cheat, and stay focussed!! Can't wait to see everyone's results...I'm sure they will be amazing!
Your friend,
Justin

What are you smoking bro? There are more illegal supps in the California Correction system then on the street! Access to supps????? LOL
You must not have been the guard that got paid off! LOL

I don't know if i do it right but I measure my chest across my nipples. Tryin to keep the tape straight around my back. All the other body parts I pick the biggest part. Like right over the peak of the bicep. Just try to keep the tape straight around and not twisted. Hope this helped, Skimbo
Oh yeah, you can measure flexed or unflexed; b4 or after a work out. I geuss your preferences. I like to measure after a good workout when I pumped and flexing. lol

Another week in the books
Well another week is done. Between work and school this was a rough one. I am glad to say that my eating and weight training was on point though. I should have updated stats on Sunday (I weigh and measure myself every Sunday morning). Hydroxycut Hardcore and Halo have been working great. Halo is the best supplement I have ever purchased. If you have not added it to your supplement arsenal yet please do so soon. I will continue to take this product religiously. I also just purchased IntraVol which is MuscleTech?s intra-workout drink. My first time using it was today so give me about a week and I will let you know what I think. Initial thought, it tastes great, especially since I am extremely tiered of sucking down water while I work out. It is a nice break from the monotony.
I know I don?t post every day but I do read every single post and I have to say that everyone who has posted stats or pictures of themselves are doing great. I know it may not seem like it, we are usually of toughest critics because we see ourselves everyday in the mirror so it is hard to pick up on changes, but from an outsider looking in, I think you guys are doing an awesome job. I also appreciate how everyone is keeping away from the negativity. I actually look forward to reading the thread each day because of the encouragement everyone has brought. Well it is the weekend which for most of us means time to unwind from the workweek. However you chose to relax just make sure you keep your eye on the prize. I will be checking back in Sunday night. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Go to your Bodyspace, click on Edit Bodyspace. Scroll down to My Progress, and select Manage Body and Lifting Stats, click it, go down to "Enter Your Body Stats and Lifting Stats" and there will be a form where you can enter your measurements. On the right side of the form it will say "Watch Video" next to each measurement. Watch the video, and measure just like that.

That may well be true..

Either the people who posted were more motivated to make the changes, or they were more in the judges minds as a result of constantly being in their faces, they were deemed more valuable because of the positive things they said publicly about the Muscletech products, or the judges maybe didn't have time to sift through 1700 entries, and just checked out the most vocal participants. I don't know the exact correlation, but based on past results.... you are more likely to win or place high if you are NOT a lurker.

... but if I have to spend more time on the forum than I do in the gym I'm here for the wrong reason...
Winning would be a great thing, but I'm doing this for ME. There is alot of hype here in BB.com as well as elsewhere about supplement THIS and supplement THAT. This contest, for me, is a pseudo-scientific way to test some of these things touted so famously everywhere, and to test how well they work for ME.
Not to be ego-centric or anything , but it IS all about ME and the improvement I can make utilizing their products.
I have another couple of weeks 2go before I begin 'cutting', and I am using this time to fill in muscle in areas where it was lost (edit: or otherwise non-existent )during my 80+# reduction from the previous year.
This contest has allowed me to overcome the 'fear of gaining' that I knew would exist, and I have developed a greater sense of control over this container I call Me... so as far as I'm concerned, I have already won... receiving the prize money will be icing on the cake... and I LIKE cake!
For the record:
My weight has not changed dramatically over the last 4 weeks (starting 5 now), but as I am attempting to add muscle during this time, I am pleased with the 'conversion process' so far, and am seeing increases in nearly all areas I have been focusing upon. As stated above, I will be working to improve the mass for another 2 weeks and then begin to 'cut' with Hydroxy and modifications to my routines.... including split-day cardio. (Not looking forward to that, for sure )
I will be taking measurements and (possibly) pics on the 1st and if I can I will post a couple of them.
Best of luck (and training) to everyone!

Oh No...
I am guilty of lurking around. I have been training hard for this competition. And though I have lost close to 16 lbs (10.5 of which were fat lbs) since starting the competition, I feel like I haven't even come close to some of you. It drives me to push myself harder, I know I can. Not keeping up with the forum for 6 weeks has given me new insight into how much harder I can push myself.
As far as MuscleTech products go, I love Vitakic myself. It is one of the best multivitamins I have ever used!

I've also been noticing some remarkable results with using Halo. I'm going to be getting an order in soon for Nano once I'm done with my current pre-workout supp.
Oh yeah, lost another pound in the past couple of days......this is exciting!!!!

I guess if some of the lowest grades of meth, heroine, and cocaine are what you are calling supps, then yeah, your probably right.
Sounds like you've been watching a lot of T.V. and movies. I get what your saying but, the public is very misinformed about day to day life in a place like that.
DEA's top priority wasn't what was coming into the joint, they wanted the scoop on what orders were coming out.
I'll take a ball busting from last years winner anytime. Looking good MAN

I'm going through the shredded stack for the second time next month, seeing the success I had this month alone. Has anyone tried the musclebuilding stack, and if so, what's your opinion on it? I'm debating trying it after next month... yeah, I plan that far ahead!

I have done the musclebuilding stack. I do recommend it highly. I plan to use it again but I think I am going to wait until I lower my bodyfat percentage a little more. I posted a progress pic in my profile when I completed the stack if you want to check the results that I got.
