Nu-Tek Pro 5 Whey protein Any Good?

Has any tried Nu-Tek pro 5?? I go to my local nutri shop and they swear buy it they even would take it over On Whey.

yah it has a great blend of whey protein isolate, egg, micellar casein, calcium casein, glutamine, and i think some other stuff.

only 1 gram of fat and 1 gram of sugar per serving (it's a big scoop too)

i'm trying cookies and cream right now and it tastes GOOD. even my girl likes it with milk. i let her try my shake and she wouldn't give it back LOL

BSN synta-6, muscle milk, and other brands seem to have a lot more sugar and fat in them which i do not like.

i really can't find anything wrong with this product. the other protein powders out there with slightly less calories use smaller scoops, so it's not high in calories per serving.

i'm care about the quality of ingredients, nutritional value, pricing, and taste.

banana is surprisingly really good in just water.
cookies and cream is ok in water but better in milk.
both are great in milk

Only thing that sux about that is paying retail prices. I think its a Nutri-shop brand, as soon as I walked in the door the guys pushing it on me. Turned out to be a decent product, tastes good too. Just too expensive for my blood. Anybody know where to get it a little cheaper?

It is one of nutri-shop brands, they have three brands that our there own. They dont tell anyone and try to push there nu-tek, vitasport, and katalyst line and say all others are crap.

I wouldnt buy that stuff, and it is a trun off when they say there house brand is the best, plus they wont even come out and tell you its there stuff.

Hmmmm wonder what a lab test would come up with on the ingriedents compared to label claims.

that makes so much sense now that you say it, every time i go in to nutrisport they push nu-tek and vitasport as if theyre letting me in on some big secret. turns out its their brand?? **** them!
..that being said the pro 5 Does taste awesome, and so far has been working alright. comes in a smaller container than other stuff to so it can be pricey for what youre gettin (45 servings i believe)

NLN lean pro matrix is better, I dont trust Nutri-shop at all, they sell superdrol to kids in high school all the time, if you want honest people go to NutritionZone.

I have tried both the NLN and the nutek.
Nutek tastes MUCH better but somehow I dont trust the company. NLN tastes ok, but i trust them lil bit more.

This stuff is great....been taking it for 2 weeks now and I am hooked. It mixes really well, doesn't clump at all. Easy to mix at work or at the gym when I am without a blender. The vanilla is good with milk and orange juice. It's also good with just water. Pretty pricy but the container is big and the scoop is huge compared to other proteins. I have been using MM light for the last several months and before that syntha 6 - so far this is the best I have tried. I tried that optimum nutrition crap......total waste of money. Go with the Nutek.

i took Pro 5 for a month and it worked great...its an awesome protein complex...low in fat...and around 32 grams of protein per scoop...o ya..it tastes great too...

sent my wife to get my protien last night and a guy at nutrishop convinced her to get the pro 5 over ON whey ... At first i was pissed then i tasted it. Cookies in cream even in just water was AMAZING. Profile looks great ill at least finish the bottle. But nutri shop prices overall werent bad I questioned him on some universal products and all matched BB.com's prices but i saw some other prodcuts where bb.com blew em outa the water.

I do own a Nutrishop and I only take Pro 5. Yes, it is an exclusive brand to Nutrishop, but so what? It has the best quality, taste, and ingredient profile of any other brand I carry. And I do carry all brands.

Regardless of what brand my customers choose I make money, so why would I want to sell a crap product just because it is advertised all over? My income is soley based on customer satisfaction, so I sell what gets results.

Oh yeah, and the price beats ANY protein out there. It is $49.95 retail for 45 shakes at 32 gr protein per serving. That is $1.11 per 32 grams. Try making your own at true protein with whey isolate, concentrate, casein, egg, and micellar casien. It is quite a bit more expensive. And Syntha 6? WAY too much fat, sugar and filler to compare.

I don't even compare it to ON whey because that product is only whey isolate and concentrate. Inferior to a blend of whey, casein and egg, in terms of gastric emptying rate.

Oh, and I sell ON whey for $39.95. It is still an inferior protein, but I will beat ANY price.

Even the no stuff they sold my lil bro was something he considered okay and was really pricey compared to NO SHOTGUN.

I really got ripped off and seriously every time i go there they are always selling copy cat products...
In this case as i was reaching for Prime he busted out a product that was full of test boosting herbs.

Now there is a big rep with prime and really i think its just that the people who run nutirshops are being told what to do. Rather than HOOK it up with a mind blowing product. Oh well....its a weak product every one considers to be okay just because its effective.

Sorry but i tried 6 star muscle fuel milkshake and turned out that i got more of an edge than what nu tek 5 and GL6 gave me.

So thumbs down on nutri shop products!

first of all, never buy a store brand product, its always going to be the lowest quality, you should buy real products with real reputation......dont hear any pro bodybuilders taking pro-5, lolol

So funny i saw this post....just 2 days ago in LA fitness a lady passed out due to all the **** a nutrishop guy sold her...these nutrishop morons have no nutrition or supplement experience and are soley motivated by money and profit. to top that off, from the same gym, two healthy males had kidney failure and were rushed to the emergency room.....it was due to the Vitasport Fuzion, it was found to contain some sort of metal.....this **** is made in someone's backyard, lol

anothe nutrishop about 45 minutes from here just went out of business and the one here is next and i'm sure many others are on the chopping block....they can only fool people for so long, but people are getting smarter

After reading this I thought this guy had to be a doctor, since he knew the medical histories, had the medical conditions, and knew results from emergency room tests of these 3 people. But, after researching I found this is the "knucklehead" who is the owner of Southern Muscle Nutrition, a local vitamin/supplement store, which my partner's 17 year old son was sold pro hormones by this guy. Nice ethics. His son broke out with a bad case of pimples on his back and arms.

Any breathing person knows that pro bodybuilders only endorse the products of companies that are paying them to do so. Second, this "knucklehead" has had to pay pro bodybuilders to make appearances at his store to support only products he sales (which are way over priced). Everything he sales can be bought off bodybuilding.com or similar websites for half the cost. Maybe that is why he only has 17 year olds buying from him. They don't have any idea that they can get the same products online cheaper! Who is laughing now. Third, his response to every male customer is pro hormones, no matter the age. He really thinks that people believe he got his size from pro hormones and protein lol. He is the laughing stock of the local gyms.

All you have to do is check out his other posts to reveal his true intentions for writing a negative post. I especially like his post regarding his question on a specific brand of anabolic steriods! Check out his past postings promoting the appearance of a pro bodybuilder at his store! It is all there to see, if you don't believe this post.

I've been taking Fusion for over a month now and this stuff gets you jacked up. By the time my N.O. Explode was done, I was barley feeling the effects. But sip on this stuff 20-30 minutes before the gym for it to REALLY kick in and you are good to go for a solid 3 hours. Also, the Pro-5 mixes better in a shaker with a "wisk ball" than ON Whey, MHP Probolic, or any other protein I have tried. No clumps or anything.

Ive been a distributor for supplements for around 12 years, first with Costellos and now with Europa. I am a natural bodybuilder and have added around 70 pounds of pure muscle during that time. I have been on every protein mentioned and have had success with all of them. I attribute all of my gains to consistent protein throughout the day in amounts the body can handle which is about 30 grams every three hours. This makes the 32 grams per scoop in Pro5 easy and convenient. Non-natural pros(no offense) are not the norm nor are they our role models. Especially for kids. Most, but not all, should not be looked to for nutritional advise. Ive been taking the Nutek Pro5 and like it just fine. For the money, it beats both syntha 6 which I had been taking for the last couple of years and before that pro complex. It tastes good, mixes well and has a good make up. I suggest to just try it for yourself and see if you like it. If you like the taste, the way it mixes and you recover better, then run it. Don't listen to anyone else who doesn't know your body or lifestyle. As far as Nutrishop goes, who cares if they push their own product. That's how every other company got started and you have to start somewhere. Good for them if they try to grab a share of a several billion dollar a year business. I hope to someday as well. That's what makes this country great. We have a new shop here in Austin, Tx. and I found the new owner to be very friendly and very knowledgeable. His degree is in exercise science with a minor in nutrition and he was very up to date on what is cutting edge and what is bs. He's in the business of selling all of the major products and recommended several non "nutrishop" items before telling me about theirs. So what if he doesn't say who supplied the ingredients. That would predispose you to judging on everything but whether it worked well or not. I gave the Pro5 a shot just for a change and liked it. As far as all of the other related supplements such as pre-workout, recovery, energy, etc., be careful. To this day nothing beats a good protein powder and a good multi-vitamin or multi-pak. I still have the best workouts with a simple cup of coffee prior to my workouts. If you want to try the other stuff, then try it and see if it helps you. If you can't tell for yourself then don't take it. Ive had hardgainers pack on muscle naturally with the BSN stack but i've also had hardgainers pack on muscle by eating 3 taquitos from whataburger every morning simply because they never ate breakfast before and needed the calories. If you don't think that's better than steroids you're out of your mind. This particular client stuck with it and went from 6 feet tall and 135 lbs to 210 ripped. He looks awesome. It took him eight years. Is that good? Of course it is. Naturally you average around 7 pounds of pure muscle a year. There are no short cuts here guys and nothing beats hard work and a good protein powder in addition to good nutrition. Before listening to someone else bad mouth a certain company because they think that company might have some angle, just try it for yourself and see what you think. For a quality per serving per money basis, I give Nutrishop and it's Pro5 a thumbs up.

True, nu-tek, vitasport, and katalyst are our products. (i work at nutrishop of yucaipa) but we truly believe they are better products. pro 5 has real high protein, and practically no fat, no sugar, and no cholesterol. it has all sorts of protein blends including whey. its a great time release as well. (hinse the name pro (5). it stays in your body up to 5 hours). same go's with vitasports fuzion. good NO levils. It has kre-alkalyn, vs creatine monohydrate like most others. we may push these brands but they truly are good. and no, pro5 is one of the cheapest proteins. its 47.95. and you can get like 10 dollar off cupons. so 37.95, and it has 45 servings. so its like $0.84 cents a shake. muscle milk is like 30 dollars most places. but we sell it for 20. and it only has 17 servings. so its like $1.17 a shake. people tend to look at size of bottle for good or bad pricing. they need to look at the price vs. servings.
