Samoangirl is going to BLAST her way to a 800lb leg press!
Hi everyone! I am Samoangirl. I will be doing a sponsored log on Nimbus Nutritions BLAST!

I want to thank In The Gym Tim for allowing me to log this wonderful product.
As some of you may know, my husband "BB2K" did a log on this product not to long ago...

He loved it so I wanted to give it a try. I have only 2 small goals in mind and I feel BLAST! will help me reach those goals easily.
Goal #1: My best leg press was 500lbs for 52 reps. ( thats about a 1200lb 1 rep max )
I want to rep 800lbs on the leg press now!! My goal will be 800lbs for 6 reps.
( I recently did 700lbs for 6 reps )
Goal #2: I want to DB Bench press the 50lb DB's for 8 reps. Right now I can do 40lbs for 8.
A little about me.
I am:
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: None of your business
Max Bench: 165lbs for 2
Max Squat: 205lbs for 15.. I am not a fan of squats at all.
Max BB Curl: 70lbs for 6 reps
I was born in Western Samoa but came to the USA when I was 7 or 8 years old. I work for a local TV station here in Missouri. I love working out and thanks to my husband, I am gaining alot of strength on my lifts. I never realized how strong I was, but BB2K has been training me and bringing the best of me to the surface.
My diet is simple, trying to drop some bodyfat but my diet isnt anything super special like the cut diets my husband uses... aint no way I could eat what he does everyday.

HEHEHE Not all of them. He loves to cook and usually does prepare my meals but he said to me "You will appreciate your great results more if you do 99% of it all on your own". I understand what he means and have decided to do all that I can on my own but he will be making sure I lift correctly.

I am defenitely subbed on this one...
Holy mother of leg pressing......500lbs for 52 reps is insane.
Not only is that a respectable weight, but the endurance you have is incredible.
I want to see a husband / wife leg press off.......my money is on the better half, Samoangirl!

Hell no. Nuff said. lol I can go heavier than her but not for that many reps. She has incridible endurance, she doesnt "feel" it until about the 30th rep or so. Not this old man.. i feel it before i even start!

The endurance is incredible....I dont think I could do 500lbs for 50 reps.

oh i can do it, just not all at once like her. I could do 20, stop for a minute, do 10 more etc. but not a straight 52!

I am leaving work in about an hour, then picking my son up and we are headed to the gym. I will post tonight when I get back home on how BLAST! taste and how the energy was. I will be using 1 scoop tonight just to test it.

I wish I could be there. I've done something drastically wrong to me back and both hands(broken by car accident) and am really missing doing any kind of exercise. I'm definately seeing it and hating it!!

We are having a lot of trouble uploading the video. I have no idea whats going on with it. We will keep trying. But in the mean time here is todays workout.
LEGS
Leg Ext 3 x 30 (10 toes out, 10 toes straight and 10 toes in) with 50lbs
Leg Curls 3 x 12 with 60lbs
Leg Press (the sled weighs 140lbs)
230lbs x 12
320lbs x 10
410lbs x 8
500lbs x 8
680lbs x 6
770lbs x 6
Hack Squats (the sled weighs 150lbs.. i think)
3 x 10 with 410lbs (three 45lb plates each side)
Standing calf raises (toes in, straight, out)
2 x 30 with 50lbs
Thats it! I took 2 scoops of BLAST and mixed it in 8oz of water. I consumed half 20min prior to training and the rest during. The energy was amazing. It really had me sweating but when I was finished training it wore off fast and I had to take a nap.
As soon as we can figure out what the heck is going on with the video, I will post it.
