Hi everyone, I started my life style change back in April of 08, weighing a whopping 285 lbs.
Glad to update with news that I am now 178 lbs, and still working hard!
It's been at least 5 years since I have been in a size 32 pant.. and I love every minute of it.
260 lbs:
227 lbs:
205 lbs:
178 lbs:
any idea what bodyfat percent i'm at?
i'm aiming for 8-10 in the next 3 months

wow nice work.
however, imho, you should bulk for a bit, then go for the single digits later.
looking at the pics you lost way too much good mass in that 27lbs btwn 205 and 178.
You looked really good at 205. I think if you do it right, in time you could easily be ripped around 200 or so.

I did lose quiet a bit of muscle on this whole journey. I wasn't eating frequently and my metabolism pretty much screwed me, but i'v learned from my mistakes and fixed my diet now. I want to bulk, but i'm really wanting to get into the single digits so I can super clean bulk and minimize fat gain
p.s I also carry quite a bit of fat on my butt/upper back still.. it's ridiculous.. that might be why it also seems like I lost a lot of weight from 205 to 178, idk.

Damn man Look at the difference in your stomach from 260 and the 178 Picture. That's pretty inspirational.

Great progress! My view on the whole body fat percentage thing is, don't worry about the actual number, because anything that we tell you is just an estimate. If you want to continue cutting body fat, I say get a caliper and measure with it regularly, and just make sure the measurement's going down.
I would also recommend that you start building up some muscle now. It's your decision, of course, but I don't think you'd have too much to show if you went all the way down to 8%.
Regardless, great work, and keep it up!

I like what he has said here. You have done a very good job indeed, bettering your health and getting your weight down. However, might I suggest a start on clean bulking?
Depending on your ideal physique, or what you want to accomplish, I suggest to begin recharging on a clean bulk, and a sufficient mass gaining program. (ex. MaxOT)
Either way, thus far you have achieved much with your body; and if you can do what you have done already; I'm sure gaining some lean muscle mass appropriately will not be too much trouble, with determination.
Nice work, and keep it up. Have fun bodybuilding and good luck with your goals!

good stuff there bro. true sign of sheer will power. now imo you could bulk clean b/c if you keep cutting your gonna start losing muscle mass as well as fat which would be counter productive. but looking good.
oh and i'd say your bf is 13-16%

Great progress OP!
I currently look somthing in between your 260 and 227 photos... but I currently weight 138 pounds. Makes me wonder what weight I will end up being when I am ready to bulk! (Curse being so short!)
