Well, if he was a window washer, the action of opening the window would be for him to enter the building. The facts are still accurate in that it is a long drop below from 22 stories, but there is no mention of whether he started from inside or outside. Therefore, he survives, because he jumped through the window to the inside of the building, which miraculously isnt all that far of a drop

...unless of course he misses
