it all depends on what your lookin for brah..
Army and Marines are the hardcore ones that dont have quite the quality of living that the Air force has, but more pride..
idk to much about the Navy, just that you would sail around a lot and port in diff countries and party.. I kno enlisted life sucks on the ship though
(enlisted life is going to suck in pretty much any branch you go)(AF might not be as bad as the others, but I could be wrong)

Air Force
When you go out to train, you get to bring suitcases with wheels like the ones you take in the airport.
While out there you get catered meals at a bar and grill, don't worry only AF get to eat there everyone else is restricted.

Then get your degree and call those agencies and see when their next "recruiting drive" will be. You're not going to get "closer" to them in the military until you've been in a long time, have achieved a decent level of rank and experience and finally end up working in the right area.

I'd like to do something that requires intense physical training, weapons training, I'd love to be doing something high level but that's probably unrealistic for me at 27...
my life = fail

I have a Soldier (Private First Class) in my unit that joined when he was 41. He's a mechanic. Nothing is unrealistic if you put your mind to it. If you want physical and mental challenges, as well something high level involving weapons...you're looking at Special Operations, i.e. Navy SEAL, Army SF, USAF Pararescue, Marine SOF.
your life does not equal fail. your life at this point equals what you put into it.

lol ohhh boy.. umm..
to be an officer you need a 4 year degree (atleast) and you will be in charge of the enlisted. jobs are different.. i dunno. its hard to explain everything on here. youll need to do some more research on your own. find a recruiter and chat with him/her. find an officer selection officer in your area and chat with him/her. theyre like recruiters for officers.

if you want a somewhat normal life: air force
