Just found this thread...
I have three tattoos... I will try to get a close up to post, but you can see a couple of them on my yucky "before" pictures on my profile. :-)
I am looking to cover up the cupid on my shoulder; it was my first tattoo and I got it when I was 19 and stupid, lol. I want to get something to signify my three daughters. I'm thinking of a dragon for my oldest daughter, with a fairy sitting on it's back for my middle daughter, and a butterfly or dragonfly perched on the fairy's hand for my youngest daughter. Still tossing around ideas and trying to find someone who can draw up what I am envisioning. It seems to be hard to find a good tattoo artist in Wisconsin.

What's up everyone? I have about 40-50 tattoo's, but u all know how they just blend together after awhile so its hard to count.
I DO NOT TATTOO, but I've worked at about 3 tattoo shops and I have alot of Knowledge about them. If anyone has any questions feel free to hit me up.
Anyways, anyone get any new ink lately?

Hey brah. Have you seen anyone cover up or add to a double barbed wire arm band? I am looking to do something to mine to make it different but I do not want to still be able to cover it with a short sleeve t-shirt.Thanks

Tattoo Advice
Before you go in - make sure you have a full meal in your stomach - it helps.
Also, If you have access - a Vicodin does wonders during and after!

Screw that. That which don't kill me will only make me stronger. When I was getting my upper back worked on there was some spots that I could have fallen asleep during, once he got to my spine - that sh*t hurt like a mother. It sucked - and the pain was almost intolerable for some moments - but I sucked it up - dealt with it and can't wait for the next one. Even though I know it will be accompanied by pain...

Got all of mine in Okinawa. The middle is a guardian angel, which is what I feel like to my family being in the military and all...and the Kanji is (left shoulder)Protection (right shoulder (strength) and (below) Family. I want another tattoo that incorporates Fire and Music together and put into some kind of half-sleeve from my neck (left side) almost to my elbow. Any ideas?

Then i go in for more addition to my tribal(on very top left shoulder), gna have it come down to my chest and down my back, and maybe up to my neck. I like neck tats, but military wont let u have them(no body has to know, Chorus: KEEP IT ON THE DOWN LOW). Also, just came up with this idea last night, im going to get a water lily and a lily. Those 2 flowers represent my son and my daughter birth months, and i want the water, clouds and wind mixed in with it also, oriental style. Gna get it on my right collar bone comming down my chest.
To all the peeps that posted there tats, frickin PROPZ to u ALL! Satsfiy that itch, and get more ! All of them look bad arse!

I have my lower stomach/upper crotch area, I guess you could say done. That one is a heartagram that looks like the lead singer of HIMs tat. Then I got my ribs done - that hurt like a b*tch. Again, more custom vines and a heart in the center. Then my friend started to do tats and I was the first person he worked on - I just got RWTF on the underside of my upper arm. That stands for Rise With The Fallen - which is for Fallen - a skate company since I spent a lot of time when I was younger on a board.
YOu can check out my pics in my profile because I am not smart enough to post them on here.

Thanks guys, yea gotta see it in person to really believe how good it is, hard to capture in a picture.... here is a newer more clear picture....

Only the camera and the guy on the right side are "done" but still need more shading and filler around them, basically the actually shading of them are done though.

That seems like a well thought out piece of art. Best of LUCK in finding your artist.

I have one that takes up 1 /4 of my back. It's a demon holding a naked woman but because of the fine line work it's damn near impossible to get a clear pic of. I'll put up a partial pic in my profile sometime today. I have no idea what to get next but I know it won't be anytime soon.

I am looking into getting my first tat... it will be around my waistline on the side, so I guess my hip. The Tibetan Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. I love the artwork of it as well as what it symbolises. Even though I have seen quite a few people with it, I still don't believe that it is a trendy thing to get inked.
Meaning:
http://www.tibet.com/Buddhism/om-mantra.html
http://www.dharma-haven.org/tibetan/...padme-hung.htm
Art:
If I were to get it done in this location, how long do I have to take off from the gym? can I do physical activity at all (cardio, martial arts)? I hear it's best not to go tanning once you get inked as well, or at least not for a while... so any info for a newbie to tats would be appreciated.

You don't have to take time off the gym... I worked out (arms) the same day I got my arm done. Some say tanning fades them... just put sunblock over it if you do
