Jean Sizes
What do you ladies do when you lose fat on your but and thighs, but also gain decent muscle there too. This happened to me and I feel like I should go up a size because of my quads make the jeans really tight and my glutes cause my underwear to show when I sit down. However I also feel like I should go down a size because my waist is much smaller than before.
Know any brands that would have a fit like that?

Hmm...well, I used to have the opposite problem...small butt and thighs...and a belly....and I remember once trying on Lucky jeans and feeling like they really didn't fit....so maybe? That was a few years ago, though...

I've always had good luck with American Eagle jeans. It's going to be nearly impossible to find something that will fit you perfectly with a small waist and more muscular thighs because so few women achieve that. I've always just opted for the next size up so my thighs are more comfortable and then just tightening my belt another notch.
My frustration has always been trying to find shirts that are big enough in the arm/upper back area but that are still form fitting around the stomach.

Have you tried...
JLo Glow Jeans? They sell them at Macy's. They're designed to fit curves.

Another vote for Lucky jeans. I have muscular legs and a small waist and I always find their jeans fit the best.

I love American Eagle jeans. I have a much smaller waist than I do hips and they always seem to fit me well. I can even fit into "most" of the skinny ones still even though my legs are getting bigger. There is just one pair I have that don't fit my legs anymore.

I love American Eagle. I have sort of an athletic/boyish shape with super narrow hips, a small waist, and muscular thighs. I do have a butt now and it's pretty firm and perky. Without it I don't know how I'd get anything to fit (my hips are 33", but would measure smaller if not for my rear end, lol). AE fits my body type well.

What about...
Low rise jeans? I have the same proportions - smaller waist and wider hips and I've found that low rise jeans fit better around my waist without that annoying gape in the front. Flared or boot cut jeans also seem to have more room around the thighs. If you are worried about your butt showing, you can get jeans with the waist cut higher in the back than the front. Makes for a flattering look, but also avoids the butt-crack display!

I also like low rise jeans for the same reason. For work pants I have GAP Curvey and they're great. Haven't needed new jeans but I wil lbe trying them. My favorites ar a pair of Ralph Laurens due to having a waist and inseam measurement just like the guys. (a little snug in the thighs but after 30 minutes it's not a problem)

I have the best luck with mid-rise cuts at stores like The Buckle (who carries Lucky, Silver and their own line, BKE). Something that tapers back in toward the waist after leaving room for the glutes so the jeans have something to hang off of.
American Eagle, Abercrombie and those kinds of stores fit my 14 year old daughter really well but I end up with a giant "bucket" around my hips if I size up to fit my leg and glute area (which basically means you can see down my pants from all angles). I hate belts so being forced to wear one with something that's supposed to be comfortable is not an option.
