My workout routines have been pretty intense lately and I put in a minimum of three hours at the gym. Because of the duration of my workout I have to have a some kind of protein bar during to just get me through it. I hit the weights hard and hit cardio maybe 3 times a week after weight lifting. Will the IntraBolic or PurpleWraath suffice for my needs or will I still need some other source of nutrients? I appreciate any advice.

The first time i took PW (on monday) i hated it and thought 'oh crap 89 more serves of this @#$%'.

Then the second time (on tuesday) i took it i used ice cold water (fill up the shaker at work insted of at the gym) and used more water and i actually liked the taste!

I haven't really noticed any enchanced recovery during or post workout yet.. assuming it takes awhile to kick in..

Intraworkout products would suit you perfectly. They'll work to prevent cortisol enduced catabolism and prevent excessive protein breakdown. Not a bad idea to add some carbohydrate powder to your shake to keep insulin and blood sugar high. Cytomax is a decent carb powder...

Thanks for the advice I will definitely look into picking up maybe some intrabolic this week to tryout. Whatever the outcome I'll let you know if it improves my workouts.

I swear by purple wrath, I will never enter a gym or any sporting event without it.

At the end of my workout I sometimes get sad that I have to leave because I just don't feel as fatigued as I used to feel.


As for sports... I played my first soccer game and ended up benched for the whole second half because my endurance was just terrible! Game 2 last week, I took 2 500mL water bottles of PW and I noticed a HUGE diff, part of it can be that It was game 2 and not game 1 so I picked up some endurance naturally, but I think its safe to say the PW helped out a lot.

I will be bringing PW to the next game this Friday and I'll be bringing a water bottle for a linemate to see how he feels about it.

I will probably be back to post an update on the results.

Have to say I am now a firm believer in controlled labs products. Got a tub of PW last night, took my shotgun as usual before(havent recieved wf yet) and sipped on the PW on the way to the gym and during my workout and downed the rest as I walked out. I did not want to the leave the gym, it was the best workout I've had with any supplement and my energy was through the roof the entire time. Loved it, and will be buying more when this tub is empty.

Haha yeah for sure! I'm bringing it for 2 teammates now because another one found out about it, I just hope they don't start mooching off my PW every game haha! I still got about 45 servings left though so its ok.

i'm planning on starting size on and ive heard and been told by lots of people that its thee creatine. i used vitargo by nutrex earlier and that worked good but i'm hoping sizeon's even better. but the thing i kinda dont get is why would you take size on intra and not post because it has sugar in it. you're supposed to get sugar after you lift right? so why is this during?

Just to give you an example of what purple wraath will do to you, I did a leg workout this morning, doing 5 sets of squats w 300 lbs, followed by 3 sets of deadlifts with 300 lbs, and then in the evening I did chest and I was benching 225 lbs with no problem.

Now, I'm going on 40 and just started lifting again 5 months ago after not having lifted seriously in about 15 years. No way could I do that without the wf/gm/pw stack. It gives me the energy, pump, endurance and recovery I need.

And no, I don't work for controlled labs or anything. I'm just a military guy trying to get back in shape.

I'm interested in getting PW, got a question though. My schedule right now is usually hitting the gym in school in the morning on alternate days, and in these days i have training (water polo) in the afternoon as well, should i take the PW during my WO, or during training?
On a side note, is there anyone lurking in these forums from Singapore? Any idea where to get PW cheap(er)? Only supplier i know that carries this sells it for S$120 ( ~80 USD).

Im going with Purple Wrath. Really enjoying it.... been taking it for about 3 weeks now and love it. I like the energy that it gives w/o the stims, the price was very reasonable and the taste aint bad. you can take a scoop of purple wraath during each if budget permits. otherwise use it during the cardio activity if that is all budget will allow.

purple wraath = is for recovery and endurance

Ya, I still need to get some of that IntraBolic. My supplement store didn't have it in stock so I decided to try SizeOn in the mean time. I have used it twice sipping it throughout my workouts and both times it got my stomach all topsy turvy. So, I'll try it a few more times and if it continues to happen I will give it up and try something else.
