SuperPump250
So I finally hopped on the bandwagon and bought superpump250 lol it was on sale so I thought why not. I bought the fruit punch flavor, the store only had that and lemon lime or something funky like that.
I tried it yesterday (took 30mins prior to workout) had a lot of energy but sure was sweating alot more than usual and felt such a surge of pressure in my head lol....hmmm
What does everyone else experience on superpump250?

I have more energy, I feel stronger, good pumps. No pressure in my head though. That could be from your blood vessels dilating. I really like it. I forgot to take it today and I was so mad at myself.

Unfortunately, I tried it about about 4 or 5 times in the last couple of weeks and also had a really strong pressure in my head, which resulted in headaches. So I am no longer going to use it.
Not only that, but I did not sleep well on the days that I used it. For me, a good nights sleep is REALLY important, especially now that I'm lifting weights.
I'm sticking to my natural energy abilty...by eatting a good balanced diet and 7 to 8 hours of sleep. Once I get to the gym, even if I'm a little tired, all I need is a good 20 to 30 minute walk on the treadmill to get my blood flowing and my heart going and then I can put a good 60 to 75 minutes in to lifting. If my energy stores are low and I'm feeling extra tired, I feel much better just eating a Power Bar Energy #1...they actually give me more of an energy boost than SuperPump with no side effects.

I take 1 scoop about 40 minutes pre-workout and get great energy and focus. No bad side-effects at all.

i tried it several times as I'd heard it was so good. It made me feel so sick. It kept coming back up my throat and the entire workout I'd feel like I was going to be sick. Not to mention the gas......suffice to say I stopped after the 3rd attempt.

I love SP250 for all the aforemntioned reasons (minus the head pressure). I am also a big fan of Cytosport Fast Twitch and BSN NO-Xplode.

I take Purple Wraath and love that it helps more with recovery I believe than energy but none the less great product.
Thanks for everyone's replies on this. I took it again yesterday, still large amount of sweating, some more energy but less pressure in the head. No headaches thank goodness as other poster said.
Does taste oh so good tho....lol

I normally use dymatize expand about 30 mins before my workout. I have great energy for my workout without any of the jitters that you get from a lot of them.

I'm new to this supplements thing, I haven't used anything but Whey, so I'm having a bit of trouble understanding what it is exactly that Pre-WO supps like SuperPump do? From what I understand it sounds like it gives you more energy so you can lift heavier, resulting in more muscle growth? Also I saw on a nutrition panel that SP250 has 34 cals per scoop, but others I have looked at seem to be calorie free as they only have vitamins listed?

It is because superpump has a form of sugar in it to raise your blood sugar levels and make the NO more effective.

It helps with energy and focus for a better workout, resulting in more muscle growth/fat loss. It contains branched-chain amino acids which are necessary for muscle growth and recovery. BCAAs are present in food but people who train hard tend to need more than you get from food alone. It's also a Nitric Oxide supplement, which dilates your blood vessels helping to shuttle more blood to the working muscles, thus= more water and nutrients for training and recovery and also you get the famous "muscle pump."
The calories are from the simple sugars which help with NO delivery as Zombie said.

Thanks! So would the simple sugars in it be the reason the label says it's not recommended for diabetics? (i'm type 2, but it's very much under control) Also are there any similar products to SP250 or NO Xplode that are calorie free?

I would call your doctors office and find out him/her. I would hesitate answering this yes or no.
