glitch in "my BB.com"

I was really excited to discover the "My BB.com" link in my bodyspace right side bar. It has made it possible to keep this huge site navigable, especially the "What My Friends Are Up To" section. I can actually have a meaningful and timely exchange with the people I have things in common with.

There's a glitch, though. One of my friends posted new progress pics. Then the next day the "My BB.com" menu said he'd done more. And that has gone on for several weeks even though, in reality, he HAS NOT posted new pics. Now 2 other friends keep showing up daily as having posted new progress pics, yet they are the same ones.

This glitch is filling up my list and making it hard to scan through and see the things that REALLY ARE new.

Could you please give your programmers a heads up on this? Thanks.

Thanks for the info! We will investigate this right away. We have found a few bugs for sure in the new functionality, and many of them are being fixed right now. I'll be sure they look at this one as well. Thanks!

Hi OldManSkinny,

Thanks for posting about the problem you were seeing with the new feed features. In spite of what others may think, we here at Bodybuilding.com do in fact care about our users and customers and this case is no exception.

We have had some reports of this particular instance happening, but in each case it has been tracked to messages being sent in response to pictures uploaded and deleted again or edited. Much work is underway right now to roll up multiple instances of pictures so that it does not fill up the log and tighten up the feed items so you don?t have so many of the same message. We will continue to monitor these issues to ensure that the feeds behave appropriately.
