Those older guys that come in and box themselves in the mirror.. I'm always amused by them.
The girl in the mini..is..is that a skirt? doing an abs machine lifting up her legs for all to see (huh..)
Oh yeah and the group of guys that do squats on the smith machine. They have like 2 45's+ and they all do the same weight, and go down like 3 inches. I swear one day I'll see them mess themselves up..

There's a big dude at the gym on post who attaches rings (like, olympic gymnast rings) to the only squat rack and when he's done doing whatever ... he leaves them there while to finishes the rest of his workout!
I'm sorry, but with only one squat rack, I flip out. He ties them so that you can't adjust the hooks, and I'm WAAY too short to try and undo his mess.
Turns out he works in the physical therapy dept ... not making an appt with him ...

Oh! Speaking of which this guy that works at my gym, when he works out there he stands in front of the weights, he looked at my workout partner and went right in front of him while he was trying to watch his form. And then his girlfriend sat there watching him workout the whole time taking up machines and benches (scarce) I almost spazzed on him I mean come on! I would think have better etiquette than that..

The chick who wears short shorts. She leans on the bench and does triceps with half her ass hanging out, oh and she is old.
The old lady, maybe 60 who wears a sweatband, arm bands, full make-up and those socks from the 80's where you scrunch them down, girls... you know the ones?!

LOL these are all so great!
I havent really seen anything too funny, but probably this guy (heavy dude) who just sat on the quad machine and was reading a magazine doing like 1 rep every 50 seconds...
i was trying to be patient for him, seriously waited like 10 minutes for him, eventually went over there and asked him if he was done, than he got all pissed off at me...
I was like, wow....

that's something I would NEVER do in front of other people! If you have private showers, there is no reason for that at all...gross...
Anyways, last night at the gym there was a woman that I know from work (the place I work at has a nice free gym) was reading a magazine and doing seated calf raises on the machine without weight...what kind of workout can you get from that???
There was an older guy (60 plus) wearing these shorts that were way too tight and left nothing to the imagination...the worst part of it was that something was turning him on in the gym because it was apparent that he was excited. I wanted to puke!

I'm always amused/annoyed by the 14-yr-olds with the floppy buns DIRECTLY on top of their heads....they work out like that? uncomfortable....
There are many others, but i am drawing blank now.
mostly strange old people with no sense of modesty, lol.

I just got back from the gym and I was doing db chest presses with 35lbs db. In the middle of lifting, an older asian woman stood right behind the bench (there were 3 people in the entire gym and she had to stand right behind me!) and started doing db curls with the one pounders as fast as she could...needless to say, it was distracting!
Anyways, what was annoying was that while I was lifting, she asks me (i'm wearing headphones too) if those weights will make me big...
i don't know what was more irritating...her ignorance or her stupidity by standing right over me while I lifted

ok now that's just gross and disturbing! ..my question is why do all the older men feel the need to wear these short shorts and cut off shirts? could it be that those are their gym clothes from 20 years ago when they were in their prime?? lol
also have this one guy at my gym that wears bicycle shorts and a spandex shirt..complimented with a couple long gold chains...i'll still waiting for the chains to get tangled up in a machine and hearing him cry out..heeeeelp!

Examples of what ive seen at my gym:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU_iHaGwgFs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgAioDQ5dnQ
the second one I have done myself, went to throw up some heavy DB's on the flat bench but some how misjudged myself with respect to the bench. The result was me falling off the edge and landing on the floor followed by both DB's which proceeded to use my face as a trampoline and then the bench itself which had also fallen over onto me. LOL
It was busy and no one laughed at me, if someone did that next to me I would have laughed hard.

I hate seeing people in general.... but mostly guys specifically... at the Gym who think they look or train really good but they really don't. They are tossing weight around and not concentrating on form or smoothness in motion ...or using WAY too much weight or WAY too little weight and not doing enough reps... or sets for that matter...or they think they can JUST use weights and do NO cardio...or use all the supplements in the world and look like crap....I mean...some things that people do are so useless...sometimes people are just mindless in the things that they do....

Person 1: Woman who apparently hasn't got her routine or motivation in check because she's too busy judging what everyone else is doing and wearing rather than what she should be doing while at the gym.
Other than that, I don't notice anything. I go in, lift, and leave. I'll leave the gossip spreading and judgmental attitudes to the cardio bunnies who haven't got their priorities in order.

It's not judgement IMO......it's just poking fun at people's attempt to be......well, just to be.....
