Aggression on Animal Test
I'll be documenting my 6 week cycle of Animal Test here. I start today, 2/9/09.
I will run 2 cans back to back. In the past 3 months, I've taken M-stak and Stak for the first time and loved both products for different reasons. Stak was finished up 2 weeks ago, and this will be the first time I take on Animal Test.
Basic statistical overview:
I currently weigh in around 210lbs right out of bed.
I eat a clean ~4500 calories/day + some cheats thrown in there.
I train 3on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off.
Sunday: Quads
Monday: Chest/Traps/Abs
Tuesday: Back/Hamstrings
Thursday: Delts/Calves/Abs
Friday: Arms
training style is high volume
reps between 8-20
6 reps on last set of heavy pressing movements
Supplements:
Pak + Omega in morning
Uniliver throughout the day
Shock Therapy pre (occasional use, not every day)
Storm (when not using ST)
Nitro pre and post
Intra-Aid during
Torrent post
ZMA Pro
Diet is posted in next thread
Let the games begin

I'm glad that guys of your caliber are in for the ride.
- In this log I will be posting up workouts, including reps, sets, and choice of exercises. The diet posted above will be the diet on a daily basis, M-F.
This thread will be no holds barred. I will mention all the cheat meals I eat/drink through these next 6 weeks in order to give a full, legit review. I will update my feelings while on Test, such as my mood, my sleep, my strength, etc.
So far, I've downed 3 meals, and the ground beef/rice meal is new. For a while I was eating 1 can of tuna w/ white rice. Feeling that the one can of tuna wasn't doing justice, and knowing that red meat is great for bulking, I made the switch today for the first time. I threw a bit of salsa on there and it was delicious.
I will be drinking at least 1 gallon of water per day, with some diet soda thrown in there for meal 6.
3 weeks on Stak made me feel like an Animal. I can only imagine what Test is going to bring to the table. Chest/Traps/Abs are on the menu tonight ....

Yes. My only suggestion would be to pull out the red stimulant pill in M-stak if you're also going to use a pre workout drink.

2.10.09 - Back/Hamstrings
What a wonderful 12 hours.
Yesterday was a little rough throughout the day. It all started when I woke up and felt like I had just shut my eyes before the alarm clock sounded. Breakfast has been going down easier now, which is a good thing. I made my drive to work and started my day. Being so exhausted, I ended up sleeping in my car during my lunch break. It did the trick; I felt refreshed. A lunch-time nap might be a new routine for me. I arrived home, ate dinner and prepped for the gym.
Adrenaline is great. I walked through the gym doors and immediately felt energized. Seeing the same familiar faces doing work just fires me up. Today was back and hamstrings. I wanted to get back to some heavy movements today ....
PreWorkout: Storm, Nitro, TEST
Intra: Intra-Aid
Back:
Chins: 50 reps
Underhand BB Row: 3 x 10 (185x10 strict w/ squeeze)
Lat Pulldown: 3 x 10
HS Row: 3 x 10 (4ppsx10)
CG Pulldown: 3 x 10
Hamstrings:
Lying Leg Curl: 3 x 8-10
Standing 1-leg Curl: 3 x 10
Seated Leg Curl: 3 x 12
Nitro+Torrent PWO
Back felt WIDE. Hamstrings were PUMPED. Awesome workout. Our pace was better. The total workout ended up lasting a bit over an hour, which is 20-30min shorter than usual. We were drenched in sweat. On the seated leg curl machine, a sweat-stained image of the Animal Logo was implanted on the back pad. I made a comment to my partner, saying he's been dragging ass lately. That fired him up and he started going big, which fired me up and made me do the same.
Woke up this morning and scaled it up. 213lbs. Don't know how it happened. Midday yesterday, fully clothed, I was 212.6 and I had a perfect diet all of Monday and Tuesday, so its not bloat/water weight. Different scales maybe. GETTING BIG!
*Again, too early for anything AT-related. Stay tuned ..

Glad to have you subbed up B.
Yesterday, Wednesday, was my off day. It was a rough one. I woke up with a throat that was worse than Tuesday. I had no voice, which wasn't a good thing considering part of my day is talking to consumers. I believe it was allergy-related, but who knows. Everyone and their mother seems to be getting sick lately. I loaded up on allergy meds mid-day, and came home and took an hour nap.
Last night's dinner was a cheat meal. It was one of my girlfriend's bday's, so we went to a hibachi joint. Salad, soup, fried rice, noodles, shrimp, chicken, veggies, pistachio ice cream and 2 sake bombs. Damn it was a lot of food. I came home, and pounded a shake w/ my Animal Test and went to bed.
This morning I feel better. I woke up and made my way into the kitchen for some breakfast, but due to certain circumstances, I had to pound a Real Gains shake instead of having my regular meal. Whatever. I went back to bed for another 20min.
I have a baggy of cough drops at my desk and they seem to be doing the trick. Plus, each drop is 15 calories haha.
Nothing from Test yet. I got delts tonight and me and my training partner are going to do serious damage.
I believe I awoke a sleeping giant, for lack of a better phrase. my training partner has been plagued with injuries for the past few months. a slight fracture in his lower back region has caused him to lay off squats, deadlifts, and any type of heavy movement involving the lower back. He has also suffered a forearm strain that prevents him from doing certain things. I made a comment Tuesday, something along the lines of, "You need to get back on track''. Well, that was all that was needed to light a fire under his ass. The rest of the workout was intense, and he warned me about tonight, saying we're going to demolish our body. I cant wait .....

It might have kicked in a bit last night .....
2.12.09 - Deltoids/Calves/Abs
PreWorkout: Nitro, Shock Therapy, TEST
Intra: Intra-Aid
Deltoids:
Seated BB Press: 4 x 6-15 (185x6)
Seated DB Press: 3 x 8-12 (75x8)
1-Arm Leaning Laterals: 3 x 12 (35x12)
*last set was capped off holding 10lb plates straight out to the sides until failure (32sec)
Kneeling Rear Cable Fly: 3 x 15-20
Calves:
Smith Machine Calf Press: 3 x 12
Seated Calf Raise: 3 x 12
HS Horizontal Single-leg Calf Press: 3 x 12x12x12 (each leg x 12, then both legs x 12 = 1 set)
Abs:
Century Machine Crunch: 100lbs x 82 reps // 120lbs x 18 reps
*Even though my throat was bothering me and I was generally run down, I still had a great workout and set a few new high's. 185 BB press was big for me, as I've only been doing 155 for 6-8 reps.
*Animal Test might be showing its initial signs of effectiveness here ... Despite feeling sick, I still felt like a beast in the gym. Uh oh .... watch out now ...

Gettin' caught up
Been off the boards since Friday. I'll play catch up and give everyone a quick rundown of how everything is going so far.
2.13.09 - Arms
PreWorkout: Overloaded on stims. I took what would equal 7 cups of coffee within an hours time. I was off my rocker. 700mg worth of caffeine, plus whatever else is in Shock Therapy. Also Nitro and Test. It was on ...
Intra: Intra-Aid
Triceps:

Animal Test
Today is day 8 of Animal Test.
So far, I feel I have more endurance during a workout. My partner was done after the lunges with quads, yet I still had some left in the tank (which isn't to say I wasn't going hard).
Libido effect is definitely there.
After only 8 days, its hard to determine strength gains. This week will really determine if it has 'kicked in' or not. My guess is that tonight's chest workout will be one to remember.
I feel big. I'm at ~213lbs now, but I just 'feel' big at times. It's another awesome feeling while being on AT. Good things to come ....

*Went a little heavier on bench for clean reps. Had a HUGE chest pump going after the two cable fly exercises.
Here is where things got exciting: Between a set of leg raises, I stepped on the scale at the gym. Fully clothed, I inched the balance to the right further and further until I hit 220lbs .. on the dot. 220lbs!. I cracked a grin that I just couldn't hide. Don't read too much into it, I was fully clothed and all. I scaled it up after my shower with just a pair of shorts on and it hit 216-217, but still, that was the first time it EVER read 220, and that was always a milestone for me. I'm ****ing pumped. Wednesday morning will be the true reading. I'm hoping for at least 215 ......
Animal Test:
The effects seem to be increasing with each workout. I feel like a monster in the gym. I get this euphoric feeling during the entire workout and I just feel like I'm in the groove with everything. Big ups to this product. If it's not in full swing yet, I can't imagine how I'll feel when it hits full throttle. Things are looking good, real good .....
