We were. I simply added my vote for Zeus as most alpha.
After all, he did run the entire show.

mythology is a intresting thing here is what i say
1) Zeus was the king of Greek gods and rightly so. he was the son of the titans and yes he led a revolt against them only because of his mothers(a titan) help.
2)Hercules was the strongest of all mortal men and gods but in divine power he lacked greatly and he remains partly human.
3) Atlas was a titan, strong for holding up the sky, but after all he was locked up for being a titan and that?s not very alpha.
4) Ares god of war was always pitted against Athena and they didn?t really ever win against each other. he couldn?t out do a women.
id say the most alpha of the Greek mythological standing would have to be one of 3 deities.
1) Styx the goddess of the river Styx. Her waters were drunk in oath was strong enough to bind any even the gods.
2) The morea or fates. they controlled fate and could end a mortal or gods life at a mere snip.
and
3) The most powerful of all the goddess Nyx. she was born out of the primordial chaos but some say she was there before.
her son (Hypnos) once made Zeus sleep and when Zeus wanted to punish him for the act, Nyx stepped in and Zeus stayed his anger in fear of Nyx. the goddess of night and darkness and the most powerful of the Greek deities. all feared her. Alpha in all rights in Greek mythology

Okay all your tools saying H-e-r-c-u-l-e-u-s shut you god damn mouths. The greek version is Heracles. Herculeus is the bastardized roman version. But I do agree with you guys. Heracles is the most badassest of the Greek gods, dunno why he isn't on the list.
But Norse gods rock the Greek gods any day. Thor, Odin, and Tyr yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

a mere human who was able to be shanked/killed by the f a ggiest ruler i've ever seen? hardly comparable to a greek god. yes i'm aware he was tied up when he was stabbed, and yes he managed to kill said f a ggy ruler. but still he was killed by a raging homo, with no superhuman strength. alpha among human standards but not comparable to the gods brah. save him for another thread

Plus he got an A+ in biomechanics at college.
