Yeah, I probably get 200 g in a day easily, and the only time I take protein is ~30g before 5 hours of classes on tuesdays/thursdays and PWO, sometimes PrWo. Just gotta like chicken and beef!

If you can't even get the minimum recommended amount I'd say you really need to:
Get a job
Eat some meat
When you're eating nothing but carbs and fat of course it's gonna be hard to get in some protein.

The same amount of extra calories will be stored as fat, though. If there is excess protein it will not go to building more muscle, it will be burned off or stored. I realize processing protein requires more energy, but that means that your caloric surplus is reduced since you use more energy. I think if you get enough of everything, moderate excesses will have very similar results and the differences should be hardly noticeable.
Someone correct me if im spewing nonsense

Strong broscience
Getting your calories from carbs/fat/protein makes no difference whatsoever in calories being stored as fat. Carbs are not stored as fat easier than protein, that is absurd. If you are over your caloric needs, those calories will be stored as fat regardless of which macro-nutrient profile they have.

Hmm. Well these is some protein in potatoes, and I'm pretty sure fruits have some amino acids.

this is my opinion witch i stated first in my post. i have been bulking for over a year and have gained 30 pounds while my body fat started at 9% and is now only up to 13% i think this is because of my diet, i do no cardio and eat close to 300 grams pro a day so a 4% increase in body fat after over a year of bulk, i think ill stick to high protein

Depends what fat you're talking about. Why not consume protein and fat, with little carbs?

What does "overrated" mean? A certain amount is needed for optimal body composition.
