Looks like a lot of you are making good progress- grats to you all. Just don't be too disappointed .
Not quite a week in yet and already down 1.9% Body fat and I have GAINED a couple pounds of muscle too. Quads are defining nicely and the gut is slimming slightly. Can't wait to see the thing go once and for all.
Mainly just working hard with some interval training and got my diet under control. Gave up soda all together and drink strictly water now (with supps of course).

I agree with you 100%! To meet Dexter would be a dream. I was so excited when he won his title...I felt like I was a part of his victory.....even though I had nothing to do with it. Seeing your idol win is overwhelming! Even if I win I will be broke again.... I am trying to facilitate a SWEET 16 party for my daughter...I missed 2 wedding anniversaries (being in Iraq) and I want to buy my wife something really nice ( down payment on a BMW....she always wanted one)...my youngest daughter is growing fast and I need to buy her new clothes... all I want for myself is a custom made weight belt with TeamFace on it. I will but the rest of the money away for my children....so really I would be winning about $250.....but to meet Dexter...priceless. To you and everyone else...keep repping, dieting, and steppin. We all will be better as people and bodybuilders after this contest. For me, this contest has motivated me beyond belief and judging by some of the physiques...I need to get my butt of this site and it the GYM! Ya''ll are putting the pressure on.....it will only make me better and I will push yall to make yall better. TeamFace!

newspaper
When I took the pictures last night, I realized that I did not have a national newspaper handy. Do you know if the same rules apply when taking the body pictures and the newspaper pictures, i.e. same attire, same background, same clothing? I was hoping I can take these pictures at work, but obvioulsy it will not be with the same background and clothing.

nice perspective. we all have different goals and if you meet your goal AND DO YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST then you have won. (there will only be one winner of first place) so is it possible for everyone to win for themselves...yes

The rust is coming off
I can feel the rust coming off the muscles. Dont feel as akward pushing and pulling the weights as i did last week. Now i just need the fat to start melting off. I had a great first week and my 2nd week has been great as well. Keep up the hard work everyone.
Fresh salsa is cheap to make and makes almost everything taste better, eggs, chicken, pork, fish, salads. It's a great metabolism booster.

Transformation Contest New Applicant!
Hey there! I have let my body go and get fat and flabby long enough. This contest is a terrific way for me to get back in shape and try to actually feel goo dab out myself again. And maybe win some money too! I just purchased the MuscleTech Shredded Stack and I am determined and I will work hard. Tomorrow morning, it begins!
Look at these gross 'BEFORE' pics I just took. Obviously I have a long way to go, but I'm going to give it my all!

u are fine for a good 8 weeks on creatine before it gets used to it.....some people even can stay on it all year with good results its all your body and how it adapts so if your getting the reults dont worry once they start slipping give it a rest but taking another creatine wouldunt help maybe some halo would be a change and maybe that would help you respond

What's up, rescuemadden? Meeting those guys must have been a great experience. I have the brochure mounted on my wall for motivation and I saw it in the magazine! Motivational! What was your feeling when you were announced the winner? How did it change your life? How do people treat you now?

Halo
Team, I tried the Halo and I highly recommend this product! I have had great results and I can't wait for my post-workout! It is a little pricey, however, I think it is worth the money. Keep training! I am training hard and I am glad that Halo is in my supplement arsenal!!!!!! Good luck!

Many people choose to take creatine for 6 weeks then take 2 weeks off. I personally notice my gains on creatine continue to be posiive no matter how long I take it but everyone is different plus I am sure the gains would be much more if I did cycle it. Just never think to do it when I take it.

Oh yeah, I got m bodyfat done with a caliper today and it was 7.7%, That is much lower than I expected so I guess m goal will be to get down to 4-5% for th end of the contest.

The rules say the paper should be visible in at least one of the required shots, so I'm thinking you'll want to redo them all.

Cycling off creatine products never made much difference for me. Remember 2 things--creatine helps the muscle recover faster, so it diminishes DOMS, and there's more water in the muscles on creatine, making them look more pumped.
GoIrish01 asked for help with eating on a tight schedule. I put a few ideas in my recipe forum (post #18) that might be helpful to others of you as well.

Battling to stay in
Hello to all my people who want to make a change!
I started back in January and swore to get it together, but am still struggling in the same catabolic cycles that have kept me at 140 Lbs. Is anyone having trouble and want to rant, rave, or vent to someone about it? That would be me.
Well, I went out on a limb and spent last month's allowance on Leukic, Gakic, naNOX9, Aplodan, and CryoTest. As these are interesting and trust me I've tried a few of them and they work like magic or something, as I get great results and don't even take a full serving! I feel I've made a good investment and was wondering if I should mix and match two or more of these supps or even try to take all five of them at the same time to maybe see if I'll get some great anabolic effect. Is anyone out there experienced w/ mixing these products or taking them simultaenously?
So far I think I've gained 5 Lbs. of muscle in these three weeks, and see a big difference. I've been dabbling w/ Leukic and Aplodan on different days, but I cannot stick to eatting enough or training more than once a week in balance w/ a busy lifestyle of school and work. Currently, stressed by trying to keep up w/ my life and bodybuilding too, and feeling like I'm about to lose all the work on this contest so far by.
I'll get it going and hope everyone stays positive, since all the good energy on this site has helped me to not quit and not be like I've always sunk to marginalizing or abandoning the workout and diet plans, in the past.
What would Dexter do?
Hope I've encouraged someone else who is struggling; they're not alone! take care and lift like crazy my friends! You better believe I'll be!

Hey, thanks for asking, I would love to share my experience with Halo. First, it is a potent product as the company mentioned on the label. I was skeptical at first; however, I said I would give it a try. I trained shoulders, and arms the 1 time I took it...I started with 1 scoop of the Arctic Fruit Punch. I drank the product and about 10 mins later I felt weird, but a good weird. I felt like I was in a pool of water and I felt really relaxed. I took 1 scoop for about 3 days and I want to go with more, so I took two scoops after my training sessions. The next week I noticed I felt bigger, my muscles felt so tight, and I was sore the next day from my workouts. My strength significantly increased...I was reppin 315 for 12 decent reps.....prior to Halo.....no lie......315 for a grueling 6 reps! I am not to big on number because my goal is the look not the weight, but as I get stronger, I lift stronger...meaning I go up in weight on my sets. My friends stated that I looked bigger. It is great. Well, I hope that this helps. Thanks!
