Gatorade...
I have heard some claims that gatorade can hurt your lifting gains...does anyone know anything about this?
What I've heard is something like the electrolytes attach to the protein molecules so then you just end up urinating out more protein than normal.

TRUE!
The best thing to do is to completely eliminate electrolytes from your diet and body. This will ensure freakish muscle growth!

So you are saying that electrolytes can really hinder muscular gains? Can you explain it any better for me?

Electrolytes are essential for your body to function. Every single aspect of your physiology is dependent on electrolytes. If Gatorade hinders your gains it's because its loaded with sugar (HFCS) and artificial colors and flavors. I wouldn't drink that stuff if you paid me.
Also, Gatorade contains very little by way of electrolytes. Most of Gatorade's success is due to marketing hype.
I mix my own sports drinks: lemon juice, lime juice, table sugar, magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, de-ionized water

I was just messing with you. I was hoping my sarcasm would inspire you to learn about electrolytes ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electro...cal_importance)

you are young and naive so you can be forgiven for this.
the reason that is a stupid question is because that is like asking for evidence that dragons don't eat fairies. nobody is doing studies to prove inane bull**** like that. so there is no study on whether or not gatorade minerals stick to protein in your feces.
in order for you and your friend to not make mistakes like this, you will need to learn more about all sorts of topics. once you know more about the world in a few years you will look back on the questions you just asked and think how was I such a stupid ****. that isn't an insult, it is a fact, we all do it

i can't remember any of the effect of it like that, but I think it is good for our health because I remember when I Caught a Diarrhea, The doctor suggested me to take a Bottle of Gatorade because it is good for dehydration.

Where do you get your ingredients? And what is de-ionized water? They don't seem like items you can get on BB.com... lol. I'd be interested in hearing more about doing that though. Great idea!
