Tomm is Friday - WOO HOO!!! I am heading home to visit my parents again this weekend and discuss all these possibilities of my future !
I do not know much - but I do know that I am not happy where I am, its playing with me mentally and physically and hurting me and Josh - so that part is easy...I must find something else...so I will concentrate on seeing whats out there right now - but if nothing comes available come the first week of March - I am off to Florida! Josh and I have a wonderful trip planned for the first weekend of March so if I do decide to go then we'll have our chance to say good-bye....
So - I've been feeling a bit icky! Sore throat, achy neck, fever - but I am knocking it out! I just don't have time for that nonsense! I am going car shopping Saturday, taking it to the gym and then a huge family pasta dinner - my favorite (Oh and you know what dessert will be - a HUGE bowl of fruit!)
I've been feeling a bit "fluffy" the past few days but I'm hoping that means big things are on the horizon.....
So - lets post some workouts!! Thats the good stuff....
Monday
30 min walk on the TM after work
Tuesday - before work
Palm Rotation Rows - 20#
Hammer High Row - 80#
Hammer Front Lat Pull - 55# - PB
Cross Row - 15# - PB
DB Bicep Curls - 20#
Lying Leg Raises
Reverse Cable Chop - 10#
Cable Rope Curl - 22.5#
Wend.
*This one was tough - my shoulders were FRIED! They tire easily!!*
Lateral DB Fly - 5#
Front DB Raise - 5#
Chest Cable Fly - 12.5# - PB
Incline DB Press - 20# - getting easier
Bent Rear Fly - 5#
OH BB Press 45#
Arm Extensions - 25#
Narrow Bench Press - 55# - PB
Thursday
Lunges - 50# - I struggle with these!! Plus I think my balance was off from this head thing I have going on!
Prone Leg Curls - 65# - PB
Hammer Strenght Base Squat - 135# - WOO HOO PB - I like these better than BB Squats
Leg Press - 358#
Crunch - 25#
Machine Crunch - 45# PB
Calves - 100#
Followed with a big bowl of pasta from Carrabas
Alright - time for America's Next Best Dance Crew (my guilty pleasure)
Have a great weekend!!

Did you learn something? Anything? A little piece of knowledge that will help you PERSONALLY ?
Forget what pay you may receive or the title/position you are able to hold down right now - you are still young and experience usually trumps scholastic degree (usually) as no matter what company you decide to work for ---- you still have to relearn THEIR methods [everyone uses a slightly different method, it is a learning curve no matter where you go]
Guess what I am getting at - why worry about the thought of the past being a 'waste' .. you already have your degree and I am more than 'pretty sure' you learned something from the whole MBA experience
Trust yourself that it was worth it

I hear ya girl!! I just get frustrated...
Your right experience does trump education - but it's always a catch 22 and a damned if you and a damned if you don't!
I am glad and thankful I went ahead and got my MBA - there are not many 25 year olds that have 2 Bachelor Degrees and an MBA......
It's not about the title or the pay per say - its getting the opportunities to really show the work you are capable of.
I have more trust in myself these days then I ever have - but that is why I am so driven and passionate about things - I know that I have big things to come......I don't exactly see myself settling for less

You have an awesome workouts going down in here, girlie!!! Way to go
Hope you enjoy your pasta! Sounds yummy.
Oh, and regarding the MBA being a waste... never! You should definitely be proud for how far you've come... you're right - not many 25 yr. olds have what you have! IMO, getting further education is never a waste. You have learned things you would've have otherwise. Also, even the experience is worth something. Plus, you never know when things will work together perfectly and you'll be happy you got it!
Anyway hope you have an awesome weekend! Enjoy the time with your parents!

Hey how are you, it's been so long since I've talked to you! It sounds like things are really falling into place for you!
I am pregnant again (12 weeks) so my plans on compete have been put on hold AGAIN! As soon as this baby comes out (Aug. 21st) I am starting to train for a show in Omaha which is in May.
I read about a ring, are you and Josh engaged?

It doesn't look like I will be able to do the Florida thing - but I am going to be moving back to Greensboro.
Which means Josh and I will do the long distance thing again! We've talked long and hard about this for a few months and it really is what is best for us.
I will be joining my mom's company and will work from the bottom up and see if there is ANY potential for me to take the company into the next generation. It will be hard - it will horribly long days - and at first not such great money, but it will be me. I love a good challenge and it looks like I have really picked me a good one this time

That's too bad you can't go to Florida. that would have been a nice get away.
Sorry to hear that you and Josh have to be apart. However, you 2 are SO meant to be together that you can make it through anything.
Good luck with your mom's company. I'm sure you'll bring so great things into it

Good luck with the new assignment. It sounds like its well suited to what you want to do, and it is important to do something that makes you happy.
I don't really feel the MBA has been a waste for me, I definitely learned a lot during the process. I haven't been able to use it in my job yet, but the way the market is now we are really not looking at the feasibility of new reserves. Its hard enough to sell the one we have right now. Hopefully it will help in the future. I don't regret doing it and it was paid for by the company, so it totally made sense for me to do it. hth

I am here! I am here!! I know you guys missed me
No - seriously my laptop is dead dead! The mother board is bad so now I am shopping around for new laptops, which is why I haven't been on much!
So - my last day is tommorow, I move home Sunday, and my first day at the furniture store is Monday at 8 A.M.! I have been told that I will be working 60 hour weeks, only getting paid for 40, and I have to cancel my Asheville trip because I must work weekends. At first I was very upset - but once I thought it all through I understand! We are in our critical stage right now - its either make it or break it through these hard times! So - I have to go in there full speed ahead and try to make it. If I go down - I can promise you I will go down fighting SO - needless to say I will probably be scarce - but I do plan on reading daily to get away from it all.
Josh has a meeting tonight to determine when he can move up to Greensboro. He is 5 classes away from getting his MBA - so needless to say school comes first. But we are hoping that he can come up in May!
I had a great check in with EL and we are heading in the right direction - YAY!! I just hope I can keep up with my workouts and eating schedule with all this craziness that is about to come into my life.
*I just hope that we can save the company!!!*
Workouts have been ****ty this week - but I think that it has alot to do with the stress of the move and the emotional mess I've been thinking about leaving Josh again. We've done this before - so I'm not worried, but I kind of like him being around (who will I watch all my corny shows with...hehe!)
Alright 2.5 more hours today and tomm and I will finally be out of this damn job!!
Did I mention my DOMS - WOW!
I have also been SUPER hungry lately. I am always hungry - but its been much more obvious the past week or so!
*and Ms. Megin I do still plan on visiting the sunny state hopefully over Easter!*
