bro, very nice! this is actually a very good plan. we havr just about the same totals there. about the shakes, it's totally fine. gotta do what ya gotta do right? as long as ur getting in quality nutrients, ur good to go. that's a lot of peanut butter too. LOL. I think ur getting in a bit more fat in there. it's ok though, perfect source for good fats. I bet you'll be gaining size like a newborn baby right there. goodluck, & keep us posted..
HAHA! loko. dagdagan mo pa ng sabaw!
INDEED!
Agreed w/ what Rott said. try to accustom your body to the training again. this time, we all hope you can be consistent w/ it. if you want motivation, just go online & browse porno, este, browse the forum pala, hehe
about ur breakfast, your oats, itlog & banana would be perfect w/ a serving of protein powder, half Liter of water, put it all in a blender, then bam! ... instant breakfast. if you really don't have time to fix a solid meal, then THAT is the perfect breakfast for you, good sir..
|
try ko nga yun kanina tae prang hrap n hrap ako. chest ako kanina tpos super wide grip ko. hahaha.pahirap e.

I'm considering going to school in the Philippines
I just returned from a 3 week vacation in the PI. I'm from California, and I'm considering going to school in the Philippines. If anyone from the PI can help give me some info that would be great...
*Best parts of Manila to live in? Rent less than PHP25,000/month. [I liked the Makati (Greenbelt/Ayala), Taguig, and Global City/Fort Bonafacio areas]
*Average monthly cost to have a personal driver?
*Average monthly cost of gym membership? (like at Gold's or somewhere like that)
*Any other relevant/useful info. (Like how to PIITB Anne Curtis, Angel Locsin, or KC Concepcion) lol
Salamat!

welcome back mga bros! pareng Rott, where the hell have you been man? good thing nka-psot ka na ulit. hows life there? I'm sure ur kickin butts! lakasan mo pa! hehe. Bro AOD, wassup? still workin hard huh? hows the family? and DRWN, musta? hows the preparation? abah, eh u shud record a video of ur competition, then post it here so everyone can see..
and to all the new ones, welcome! post anything here, ok lng kahit puro kalokohan. hehehe
great points here Etuckram, keep these in mind. hows it goin? about ur diet:
EXACTLY. good one BadShot. although, for my two cents, I wouldn't mind some sodium in the diet. at this point, you should only be concentrating on losing the 'bodyfat' by cutting down total calories. unless ur trying to dry out (like 3-4 days out of a BBing contest), you shouldn't be worrying about that yet. in terms of ulam, agreed w/ what BadShot said. pre/post workout meals should be your main concern. time your carbs around it. also be consistent on your protein every meal. since you said ur only concern is to lose BF, it wouldn't be too complicated. but might as well keep/maintain some muscle mass in the process, don't you think? so try to keep your protein high pare.
also don't limit ur carbs to camote. eat oatmeal, bananas, other fruits, of course veggies, and don't be afraid of rice. rice doeasn't make people fat. overconsumption does. just control the subo! lol. but it's ur choice though. enervon (& other multi's) is good too. after all that was said, I'd like to suggest a modified version of ur daily nutrition plan. suggest lang ha, see if you'll like it..
during lifting days
9pm - 170-200 gms camote (or 1 cup oatmeal) + ulam(let's say Chicken breast) = 2 breast fillets (available yan sa supermarket, P170/kilo)
12pm-1am - camote or any other veggies (1/2 cup) + ulam (chicjen breast fillet same as above or maybe a half can of tuna)
4am - same as above (use the half can of tuna here)
7am - pre-WO = rice (1 cup) + ulam (any, 1 cup)
8am -workout
post workout meal - (if you have a protein shake, 1 serving + a serving of raw oats) or, a cup of rice or camote or any veggie + 1 cup of any ulam (6 eggs maybe, fish, etc.)
that's pretty simple. all you have to do is plan ur attack very well. take regular trips to the grocery, kaya yan ng budget, you'll see. you don't have to necessarily do it that exact way, pwede mo i-sub kahit anong ulam or carb source. basta try to keep it at that amount. I think that's less than 2,500 calories. try to be consistent on that, gauge it & see how it goes. then i-modify pa natin depende sa result in maybe 3-4weeks..
BTW, ur training & cardio Sked are good. just keep it up man. best of luck. keep us posted!
|
Good tips brah! Very well said.

You have good mentors to guide the way pare. You should do well. Keep us posted on how it goes.
For me training is an up and down battle. Staying consistent with diet as well as training is the key to making gains and reaching your goals. Main grip is overtraining so I try to not get carried away in order to avoid injuries...
Kudos to everyone-you all looking great.

yeah, in that vid, he's doing it very slow. & IMO, if you're doing it faster than that, then you're OK. no need to do what he's doing. maybe every once in a while. sort of just a change of pace. like I said, you won't get strong if you're gonna be doing it that slow all of the time. & if you aint gonna get stronger, then you aint gonna get anywhere in terms of muscle mass. get the drift?
so moderate speed is almost always advisable. adjust rep speed depending on your goals..

Okay lang ako, medyo mahina ang internet connections dito sa Iraq, pero nung umuwi ako naka pag post ulit ako dito. All of you seems to have good plans, stick to it. Like I said b4, di tayo lahat parehong ginawa ng diyos. God speed!!!

Bro mukhang nag re-ready ka na for summer!
Sorry can't help you with a good circuit program but I managed to lose weight by just doing cardio in the morning. (3-5 x a week), Then buhat sa gabi. (4-5 x a week).
Now bulking na uli. No cardio.

Pare, ganun nga pero my clothes are getting fitter. I'm a bit bulky with extra padding (fat), so I guess I need to lose that to get leaner while maintaining muscular bulk. I was thinking of doing cardio kaso it according to what I read you get to lose more lean muscle so kaya circuit na lang - sabi daw nila it's a good anaerobic workout with a little less muscle mass to lose.
Yesterday, I did every body part, one set each for 20 reps. after 1 round run sa treadmill for 5 min at 8 kph then did round 2. finished it off with another 5-min cardio and russian twist.

hey,
i do post there,
what your handle there?
imo,
the suns shouldn't not trade Amare,
they should trade Shaq,
they should return to their run n gun offense,
maybe they won't win a championship that way but atleast they can attract good FAs in 2010.
