South Arlington area here
I travel a lot with my business so I mostly use Ballys as I can train no matter where I am (spend a lot of time at my shop in San Antonio). Around the house I prefer train at Metroflex.

Do you go to the Arlington location or going to the new Plano location? Welcome to the thread. What is your business, esp since being located in SA.

I go to Arlington, Whitelake, and Hurst locations...depending on where I am on a given day. I hit it 6 days a week so wherever I can sneak 1.5-2 hours in easiest is where I'll go. I heard about the Plano location but don't get out that way much. Fortunately I only live about 3 blocks from MetroFlex...keeps me striving for greatness when I can make it in there.
Actually, I market research, invent, and prototype my own line of products and then manufacture them at my machine shop in SA. It's a hobby related industry with a worldwide market carrying my product line...keeps me off the streets!

That's the way to do it. Some of the excuses people make up for not getting to the gym is ridiculous. Gyms are so plentiful that you can sign up with a chain and go where ever you need to.
Making your own cocktails. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do that! I just found a bulk wholesaler to start making my own nitric oxide enhancers.

Well I made up a new training routine to get me hard and cut off some of this mass weight...and 3 weeks in, it is still one tough routine to complete! I train 6 days a week and hit cardio 7. Diet is doing well; I knocked off a solid 10 lbs the first 2 weeks...only weighing in once a week at this point. Target is 205 by end of April...shredded! Hard to believe when I started training 12 years ago I only weighed in at less than 120.
Oh well, back to work for me...no rest for the weary or the self employed!

Lewisville Texas here.
I primarily work out at 24 Hour, but also work out at LA Fitness sometimes.
Don't like LA Fitness as much...they close at night...and they don't have the Big Ass Fan.
They have a Big Ass Fan at 24 in Lewisville...I love it! Keeps me cooler.
I'm 39 and trying to get to 8% body fat (I am guessing that's 4 pack abs) and 185 pounds. Currently at 166 pounds and 12% body fat.
How long will it take to pack on 20 pounds of lean muscle?
I just started eating 7 meals per day two weeks ago, all very healthy stuff. Almost no restaurant foods. And I've been getting sore from workouts because of an article I read on T-Nation (the 8 Ah-Ha Moments) where the guy talked about EFFORT in the gym.
I want to get to 185 pounds, lean, as FAST as possible, but only naturally. No interest in steroids. Any advice?

Welcome by way of Lewisville.
It is going to take you at least two years if you can average 10 lbs of muscle gain each year. I am assuming you do not want to put on much fat, but part of increasing your muscle mass is putting on some fat. So I would ask you which is more important, getting larger with the most weight gain coming from muscle or having 8% body fat?

I'm not sure yet if I'll make it out there. I have business trips in March and in April that will make it difficult to break away...but I'm trying to make it!
