Sounds like a insulin/cortisol issue. People that truly store the majority of bodyfat in the stomach usually have overproduction of cortisol. If this is the case, doing cardio for long durations is the WORST thing you can do, and to couple it with HIIT compounds the problem.
The supplements you just purchased are likely not going to help you with this. You may want to look into Biosignature Modulation and if you have a practitioner in your area, go have them test your bodyfat. They can tell you which hormones are out of whack in relation to stubborn fat storage (cortisol, insulin, thyroid etc). If it is determined that you have a cortisol problem, some good supplements to take would be fish oils, Phosphatidylserine, and Glycine. Also, you really need to cut back on doing so much cardio.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice, I have actually been taking fish oil for over a week now. I might buy some Glycine as well. I have actually lost 80lbs but currently what I am thinking is this is probably a plateau, because others have told me of my lose in belly fat, but I am just not seeing it personally. Anyways again thanks for the help. I have been told by some people IRL, that I am not intaking enough protein to be losing fat.

I think you might be doing to much cardio and burning muscle. Maybe its genetic. My brother worked out like a mad man and could get abs, until he started workin out like twice a week. After a few months , abs. Try changing up your routine, do everything you didn' before and don't do anything you used to and see if that helps. Good luck

None, none at all, I know why you are asking, because it raises your estrogen and can raise belly fat levels? Well im actually staying away from hormone injected foods (like chicken breasts) and processed meats, plus I started taking ZMA yesterday (as well as Chromium Picolinate), so I hope that's going to start to help.

Have you ever blown up a balloon? If you have you will notice that the first couple of puffs make a huge difference in the circumference of the balloon, but after that each puff will change the circumference less and less--even though the puffs are the same.
If you belly is very large, you will often have to lose a lot of weight before it starts to show up. You will often feel it in your clothes or see it on the measure before your eyes will ever catch it. In fact, since you look at yourself everyday, the eyes are the least effective measure.

Yeah I see what your saying, all my clothes are loose, so I know I have been losing more weight, but its my eyes that always deceive me.

Keep in mind that our bellies store the most concentrated amount of fat. Also, as we slowly lose those "layers" of fat around our body, it keeps the same general shape as before, just smaller. You're not going to see a big change in the mirror because you have nothing to compare it to. Like others have said, use a tape measure and do a picture catalog and you're sure to see something (that is, of course, you're staying on track with the diet and exercise).

Can you run 1km in 5 mins?
Can you run 2km in 10mins?
Can you run 5km in 25mins?
If you are not losing your bodyfat, check your cardio again, granted your diet is in deficit WITH macro that actually works for your body. (i.e Carbs doesn't do me any good when I'm cutting) Generally poor cardio endurance/strength are related to high bodyfat percentage.(especially the belly fat)
If you can manage above but still not losing fat, definitely check your diet.

i finally figured out how to update my stats, i created an account a long time ago and forgot my log in finally remembered it. I have been using a cheap scale to determine my weight i think i might be a little heavier than the scale says maybe off about 3 to 5 lbs. This is the heaviest i have ever been. I am not fat i have been trying to gain size for years. I started off at 145lbs with no muscle. These bulking and cutting cycles are getting tricky as i get older my metabolism is changing. When i first started lifting i could only get ripped and had almost no fat. Now i seem to be able to store some fat which is good for a bulking cycle but this will be my first cutting cycle i have ever really done. i figure i got about 4-5lbs of unwanted body fat at this point. I have done absolutely no cardio since late fall.

Worthless supplement, that's why it is so cheap.

Hello everybody!
I have just joined and this belly topic is on my plate too.
Two years ago my blue jeans waist was 32 inch and even felt a bit loose. I got there after almost two years of struggle mainly reducing overall food intake. I tried hard to eat less then I could. Started going to the gym twice a week about 5 months ago, but without killing myself and gained maybe 2 pounds. Most noticeable is some size increase in my arms, so I guess it is because of some gained muscle. The drawback is the same blue jeans are really tight now and I hate it. And I still try to eat less except the evenings when I came from the gym.
In case some may say that blue jeans shrink over time, etc., I will add that I probably have half a dozen both new and old.
My colleagues envy me because I can hold my belly completely flat, but I know that if I relax it, it looks awful. I know there is no fast cure to it.
BTW I am 53.

Have you considered doing a cleanse? Some people hold a huge amount of waste in their bodies.....specially if you are a fan of protein bars...they're like paste on your interstines.

Nope you will not lose muscle. If anything it will help you absorb vitamins and proteins in the long run.
I noticed I had a lot more energy after mine too.
