Are you joining the Muscletec contest too, you can keep up with the guys in head to head contest there. I dont think many of us have trainers, only friends husbands, sig others, and the support and wealth of information here on BB.com.
Welcome and good luck with your transformation

I would think it's more of a hydration problem, especially all the caffeine you are taking in with those pills and the amount of cardio you are doing. I think you can google a water intake guide and stick to it. I usually drink at least one gallon a day and that's minimum, but I also weigh 215.
Just remember, you can eat all the good food and supplements in the world but if you don't have the water in your body to circulate it then it's worthless.
|
Thanks for the tip Transmigration! I know I really need to work on taking
in more water! I try to get at least 8 glasses a day in but probably need alot more!

Noticed a couple women were having complaints about their weight not going down. Mine has actually gone up from 138-142. Just wanted to add in on the fact that the scale is the enemy!! I recommend tossing the scale out and instead buying some skinny jeans. Try them on once a week and see if they're getting looser. As you can tell from my progress pics, I have definetely lost inches and gotten tighter even though my weight is high.
I stepped on the scale the other day and found out the new big number. It was even hard for me not to get in a depressed mood, until I kept telling myself I knew I looked better.
As far as side effects go, I was up to a full does after only 3 days. I got a tad nauseous in the morning once, but now I'm fine. My biggest problem is trying to maintain my eating habits of 5-6 meals a day. I'm never hungry anymore and am trying my hardest to force food down b/c it's been 2.5 hours since my last meal. If I wasn't trying so hard to keep my calories up, I'd eat probably once or twice a day only.
Anyhoo, hope everyone is staying dedicated!!! GOOD LUCK LADIES!!!!

No problem. 8 glasses might be a little low for a very active person, I think 8 glasses might be for a lazy none active person unlike yourself Good luck and hope you feel better.

Please dont be discouraged
Hi All,
Hopeful Bee is right. I was discouraged my second week as I only lost a half pound. However, my body fat decreased and my transformation pics showed a difference from week one to week two. Then at week three I lost less than a pound again and my body fat actually INCREASED. I was terrified to take the pics. I wasnt going to do it but I said to myself that I made a commitment win, lose or draw so I will take them and post them.
Well . . . whether the scale was wrong or not the pics definitely showed a change from the second to third week. So, I have totally blocked out the fact that the scale said my body fat went up . . . I also feel a change in my clothes. Their looser and fit better.
My body shape is changing. I?m rounding out, adding muscle, and getting flatter. I am on cloud right now because I feel amazing and its all starting to all come together. So, forget about the scale. Its just a number . . . go by how u feel which is GORGEOUS and BEAUTIFUL!!!

Entry Form
I was just about to purchase my second Hydroxycut Max and just happened to think about the entry form problems we first had when signing up for the contest. Is a way to find out if our form (names) have actually gone through? I would hate to fine out at the end of the contest that mine never made it to the correct channels and was not entered... Yikes!

rockin' out!
I was wondering about my entry form too. I am on day 2 of hydroxycut. I felt like I was energized yesterday (my first day of hydroxy), sort of like I was in fast forward. A bit strange, but not shaky or any of that. Additionally, I didn't feel all that hungry but I ate because I know my body needs it. I was so proud I went to a quaint little cafe yesterday and ordered oatmeal and orange slices. It was the best tasting oatmeal I have EVER had and the oranges tasted amazing! I think that when you eat protein bars and shakes all the time and then you have some food you really enjoy and appreciate the taste. I know that when I have a cookie or something I will probably cry cause it will taste so damn good! Its weird when you are around other people because they are just eating whatever they want and then they criticize because you are eating healthfully. What is up with that? But yesterday, the people that I was around were supportive and I was an inspiration to them. Yea me!
Anyway, I taught step aerobics this morning at 6am and then lifted a few sets at the gym. No time to hit the gym later because I work all fricken day. Its a snow storm here in mid-mighigan... how is everyone else doing?

I eat Sugar Free Jello, I bought those little tupperware cups to reuse and bought a bunch of different flavors of Jello packs. They are 4 serving per box and 5 calories per serving, 0 Fat, 0 Carbs.. Make sure it's Sugar Free. Hope this helps!!

My fiancee came up with protein pudding, which helps take care of any cravings. We use sugar free jello cheesecake flavored pudding, but add a serving size of chocolate protein ( I use oryx goat whey french chocolate). It actually tastes like the chocolate cheesecake filling.

Great job!
I am up 1/2 lb but my trainer has me on a 6 day a week workout with weights plus 6 days of cardio for 45 min. I just started that schedule on
sunday and in 4 days I already lost 1/2 inch off my waist and 1.5 inches off
my hips! Wahoooo! I haven't measured anywhere else yet but I am happy with that. Can't wait to see how many inches I lose in another 2 weeks. I
will probably take more "progress" pics this weekend and I hope to see a
change in the pics!

Great tip!
My weight loss has stopped as well, my trainer has adjusted my days so that I don't carb up until Saturday! I am dying! I was supposed to carb up yesterday... so I am really looking forward to it!

Working hard since late December, lost 15 lbs so far, slow and steady. Now it's down to the nitty-gritty, that stubborn fat. Guess I need to up the intensity. This is an awesome challenge!!

SuperBowl weekend
Hello ladies,
I agree with the sugar - free jello.. great for
cravings.. if your body can tolerate it,
1 tbsp. of cool whip might not hurt?
I'll take progression pics next week.
I agree with all the ladies about the scale..
its just a guide.. its how you feel, how your
clothes fit.. and what progress you see in the
mirror.
I'll post my diet changes on here as well..
more basic.. up the cardio..
There still is plenty of time left.. April 30
for the muscleTech Max challenge.. : )
BTW... you is cheering for the Steelers?

Questions?
1. Do we have to make every purchase of Hydroxycut from BB?
2. Is it required that we post progress, blogs, ect. in the Thread? What are the number one things that we should post in the Thread?
3. Should we wear the same clothes in each picture?

I was doing sooo good until this morning! My trainer has me on a 6 day a week training schedule and I have been following the program she gave me. Today was going to be my rest day and thank goodness as I woke up this morning and I can't walk! I have a herniated disc in my back but it really hasn't bothered me in years. Most days I wake up sore but nothing like this! I can barely move and I look like an old lady trying to get around (looked like that when I herniated my disc). I have been moving around and trying not to sit to long but it isn't helping. I also took some motrin and that isn't helping either! I just hope this doesn't sideline me! I was so excited about the changes I was seeing and I don't want to be out of the contest now! My bf was kind enough to get us a massage tonight and I hope it helps. Ok sorry just had to vent my frustration. Wish me luck that I can get back to training tomorrow and that this is just temporary. I always worry about herniating another disc but I don't ever let it stop me from doing things.
