I am Cherokee Indian. My great grandmother was born and lived on a reservation and my grandmother was raised by her and my great grandfather who was also Native American (Jamaican and Cherokee). So I have a certain pride for our difficult history and rise above adversity. We are some of the wealthiest cultures around because we are smart and resourceful...not to mention great at bartering and business. Do I have any cherokees or seminoles or ANY other American Indians in here? Tell me where you're from and why you're proud of your history. I'm proud because all my cultures have been through difficult times and not many people want to remember what Native Americans endured for land that was ours to begin with. We are a strong people!

Heyy I'm a Guarani Native from South America. We're native to Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay :-)
My mom is Russian though, so I'm just half native. I wish I could speak the language but it's not easy. Kind of sounds like Chinese :-p

I'm Black/white/Natvie american and very much proud of my backround!!! I love the fact that my roots are deeply embedded in this country. I'm from the Narragansett tribe...our reservation is in Charlestown,RI and the powwows are held every August. It's a beautiful thing to see when we're all dressed up.

i dont know much about Cherokee's. but do you know your clans?
i know most tribes have 4 clans to a person.
if you know your clans then you'll find out who's closely related to you...
