Four relatively obscure raw meets all held in Florida. Plenty of PLers older than me here in FLA.

2/1 NE Collegiate Championships Scranton PA (no the office)
3/14 NE High School Championships Boston, MA (team is working it)
3/29 USAPL Collegiate Nationals Baton Rouge LA
5/20 NE Open championships TBA
After that its either Junior Nationals if I actually make the cutoff date age wise or whenever the next open meet is. I would also like to blow up to 198 after Collegiate nationals ><

brutal schedule man. I try to limit it to 2 comps/year. How are you going to maintain your strength?

Its really only like 3-4 total, the HS one I thought I'd throw in there, I'm not lifting at it but its being held at my school so I'm working it (loading bars etc) My last was in Nov. and I just felt that I did a really ****ty job, so I try not to count it :P I'm just going to try to PR at a lower weight class this weekend then decide whether I want to get back up to a solid 181 by nationals or stick at 165.
So far my schedule seems to be spread out enough to compete 3-4 times a year, I didn't do nationals last year though so I might skip the May meet this time around then see what the open meets look like after this summer.
Since jan 08 all I've done was May/Nov/Now so I get a good amount of rest time, just got some new gear though and wanted to test it in meet conditions before nationals. Plus I graduate in May so I won't be going everywhere for free anymore so I might as well do as much as I can while I can. I don't plan on stopping when I graduate so the increase in cost will likely make me do less per year.
I swear its not as bad as it looks

I'll probably come up for that meet in Scranton, but not compete. Good luck.

NPA meet in Northern IL around April, just a push pull. They alow single ply on deads, I'll probably just do the bench so that its quick, this being by first meet. They charge like $50 per lift too.

They won't let you enter a whole division, it's just single lift events?

Pretty much. Its in a really small town out in the country. You can do one lift for like $50 or both for like $90 if I remember correctly. The bench is raw and a single ply is allowed for deads. I'm just going to make a quick appearence, get a good high def video on my camcorder, and get some experience and talk to people
