The liberals and the hippies that are now running the world are more concerned with how the bad guy feels and how to help him than they are about protecting society. They create more programs for offenders that allow them to go free at the expense and risk of the general public. Our society and legal system is totally screwed and we have the 1960's to thank for it. Five years isn't a prison sentence that would equal molesting a ten year old girl, but it is an appropriate amount of time for the liberals to rehabilitate him and get him back into society. It's now about the bad guy and how we can help him, not about the victim and how to keep us safe...

Look what the so called "Conservative Revolution" has accomplished over the last eight years. Hom many jobs shipped over seas? How many foreclosed homes? How many new radical Muslem insurgencies out there (oh yeah the war on terror is only in Iraq). No judgement taken. We just got over the Ventura stigma and now this! Part of me hopes that he gets it because he is so crazy and has such a drive to be in the spotlight it would be a pretty entertaining term.

No finger pointing needed here.
1. Foreclosing on homes, and loosing more money than reducing interest rates makes sense? Thats what the banks were doing.
2. The exporting of manufacturing jobs overseas was another factor in our present economic problems. The Republicans celebrated this as a "Period Of Unprecendented Prosperity" except for those who had to move to lower paying jobs, and lost houses ect. By the way those lost manufacturing jobs leb to people not being able to afford the products now being imported by same companies that shipped manufacturing overseas. The ones going bankrupt now.
3. Giving tax cuts to the oil companies that were making consectutive record profits. Those same prices that were giving the oil companies record profits were causing companies to cut jobs, and close down because they couldn't afford the transportation costs.
4. The "Global War On Terror" is being to focused on Iraq. We're loosing ground in more important areas.
Oh yes Bush wanted to sell HomeLand Port Security to a country with closer ties to Al Queda than Iraq and Sadam. They actually raised money, and provided trainning for the 9-11 terrorist.
