Going through my carb up at the moment.
I cooked up a (weighed out) pot of pasta and tomato this morning and am slowly munching through it throughout the day bit by bit. Hopefully this is the correct way to do a carb up with a constant flow of carbs throughout the day.
The depletion workout this morning was a killer, i dont think ive ever felt so drained in all my life lol.
Ill be happy to return to the keto tomorrow.
Also Ive decided to stop the creatine supplement for a couple of weeks (probs until the 20th feb) to gauge how much water weight it is putting on me. I can then use this info for when I use it in the future.

Just tried turkey burgers for the first time today and I was a little skeptical at first but they came out pretty good. I made some honey dijon mustard to put on them and made some fresh spinach to go along side it. I didn't have any buns so I went without (better IMO). I also used a pan since I don't have access to a grill or a grill pan.
1lb Ground Turkey
1 egg white
1/2 tsp garlic
1/4c breadcrumbs
salt & pepper to taste
Mix it all up in a bowl and split into ~ 4-6 patties.
Indent the middle so it cooks evenly in the pan
Heat a pan over medium-high heat and put the burgers in indent side down for 2-3minutes put some water to just cover the bottom of the pan and then cover the pan.
Flip the burgers and cook for another 1-2 minutes
Honey-Dijon Mustard
1 part lite mayonaise
1 part dijon mustard
1 part honey
(I usually aim for 1tbsp of each but if you need more then you'll have to add more and people's tastes differ as well.)
I'd post pictures if I had it but I didn't take any...
1 burger

Total Carbs: 2g

It's not exactly Mickey D's but it's pretty damn close and pretty damn good too

Today was my weigh in day. I weighed 252 even. My waist was a little under 44 inches. Last week my weight was 255.4 and waist was about 44 inches. My waist didn't change much in inches but to me it looks a lot flatter. I hope I can continue to lose at least 1-2 pounds a week. Today will be my cheat day. Looking forward for lunch today.

If I had to do it all over again, I would be in the same work field!
Sorry guys have not posted in a week. School has kicked back in full-time and I have been doing nothing but reading. I am still getting my workouts in and my diet has been on track. The only thing that I am not happy with is the fact I am only eating 5 meals instead of 6. It puts at about 1800 cals for the day so I guess it is not to bad. Last time I was on the scale I was at 259lbs and after my refeed I was at 263. I should be at 250lbs if all goes well. I'll keep checking in. Sorry about the absence.

about 3 weeks in, good about diet still and started doing cardio again (60-90mins per day) after a full 10 days off. My weight has actually been steadily increasing over the last 5 days from a bottom at 183, but my body fat has been dropping over the same period and my diet hasn't changed so it's all good.
185.4, 26.8% body fat. Roughly 6 pounds of fat lost, 1.5 pounds of muscle gained. On pace for %20 bodyfat @172 by april 1.

check in
This week has had its ups and downs. I am still doing a great job training. But I have struggled with the diet. I have got to find a way to move my discipline in the gym to the kitchen. Today, however, was a good eating day. Got all my meals in and ate clean. Scale is still the same

What's wrong with your diet? Are you just not eating "healthy" foods or is it a matter of portion control?
Do you count calories? I use fitday.com and I always think about the repercussions of what i put in my mouth and how it will affect the bottom line (calories) which helps motivate me in portion control. It also is something measurable that you can achieve and feel good when you do well because you can actually see it.

Whats up guys,
Finally got back on track this week, diet has been dead on and so have the workouts. This morning we did a ruck march at a nice pace. Towards the end I just decided to run and ended up running 2 miles of the total 6 and wasnt to tired at the end, it was good pt regardless. Anyways Im excited to weigh in on the 1st. I havent weighed myself in quite awhile, might be good or bad not sure yet.

I did legs also. I feel great! I get 2 rest days now which are much needed the last 3 kicked my ass. If I'm feeling good tomorrow I might throw some cardio in.
By the way I meant to bring this up earlier in the week.
Jump Rope is the best form of cardio ever! I'm in love with it. It burns 750-1000cals/hr and doesn't fatigue you like running does. If you get a chance to try it definately do it you won't regret it.

I might just do that drive, but I've never been good at jump rope. I remember trying when I was younger lol
I'm gonna try and get in contact with the group member we haven't heard from in a while and remind them that the check-in is coming up.

I was never really that good either you just gotta get a feel for it and it will become like second nature. There's gotta be some good tutorials online with tips about how to do it if you still struggle.
Good idea. You should also remind them to subscribe to this thread to remind them to check in every once in a while

another good work out today, did Back/tris and 20 minutes cardio after all day of shoveling snow. Bought some Calipers from bb.com and checked in at 22% bf. Not sure why but my weight is staying even at about 166 and really do not want to cut more calories then im at. As long as the bodyfat keeps going down I dont mind the weight

Weighed in this morning at 254 which is down 5 pounds from 259! I'm stoked! I don't know what i did differently this week (must be the jump rope) but I'll try to replicate it next week.
Hows everyone else doing? Kinda died off pretty quick.

Here's a quick update before i do full measurements and Tuesday (weigh in day). I weighed myself this morning after breakfast and the scale said 207lbs. So that's 16 lbs from when i started. Not too bad for a month loss.
My exercises with the P90X have been dead one for the most part. There have been a couple of days that I've skipped but I made up for it the following day. I seem to skip either Friday or Saturday night. On Friday i typically do 1.5 hours of Yoga and Saturday legs and back. So if i miss Friday, I'll do Yoga when I wake up on Sat and then legs and back at night.
I think that I'm really getting addicted with this program because I feel like i have so much strength now. The other day I was running at my work's gym and when looked down on my legs in the mirror, my legs were really defined.
I'm also liking that my upper body is so much more strong than I've ever been. I'm not struggling to do 10 push ups anymore like before, so that's a big plus!
In terms of the diet, I haven't been following very strictly. Mon-Fri, I do really well from Breakfast until my 4pm snack. But recently, I've been going to my sister's after work and there I break it a little bit (a couple of cookies), or if she's cooking, i'll have a small portion of whatever she's getting ready. Then i follow it up with P90X about an hour later and finish the day off with a glass of milk and Whey Protein. In all, though I cheat a little bit, I'm doing great with portion control and now it's hard for me to eat a full plate of food (way too much food).

16 pounds is great man I've heard nothing but good things about P90X it's good that you're doing something that you like and you can get addicted to because it makes it so much easier to do it every day. Don't worry about skipping days too much because your body grows on off days anyway so you should leave some days to rest. Also don't worry too much about eating @ your sisters as long as you can fit the cookies and stuff into your cals for the day you'll be fine and it seems you have the portion control down pretty well and you're on the right track. Keep it up!

Cheat day man everyone needs a reward at some point you can either go wild and then make up for it with 5-10mins more cardio/day or eat what you want but control portions. I plan on eating chips, dip, wings burgers tomorrow

"I'm not afraid to die on a treadmill. I will not be outworked. You may be more talented than me. You might be smarter than me. And you may be better looking than me. But if we get on a treadmill together you are going to get off first or I'm going to die. It's really that simple. I'm not going to be outworked." -Will Smith

I weighed in this morning at 248.6 which is almost 4 pounds from last week. I already had a cheat meal today. Tomorrow will also be my cheat day then back to my diet on Monday. I hope everyone else is doing good.
