those are still some damn good #'s man - but what happend to the CGBP? you were dominating on that lift in the mid to high 200's before?

good job on the weighted dips too.

up the weight on those inclines- I know you are much stronger than working sets of 205 (even after pushing flat)

Dont listen to the bull****. If you say you can bench 345 at 181 more power to you. In my sport there are some light weight freaks out there that put up some big numbers. Also with me, I have found the westside program put the most on my bench when I was working my bench back in the day.

When I was 18 I benched 350 and squatted 550. This guy seems to be doing extremely well and I have no doubt he will attain his goal. If I had of not been into martial arts so much I would have benched 400 back then. This guy WILL do it. No need for negative comments! 1st Powerlifting Meet
Had to wake up at 5:15 and be at school at 5:45. Meet was in Montgomery.

We arrive and I weigh 183.3... I was really bummed and talked to my coach and he said I could compete in which ever weight division I wanted(being 181.5 or 198). Well I decided to compete in 181 so I ran around for 20 minutes, then did a handstand and got on the scale and hit 181.2 so I was really stoked. I had been on diuretics and cutted all week and lost 9 lbs.. so I was already low on energy.

Squat Attempts
1.365 - Disqualified attempt because I stepped foreword after the lift.
2.365 - Blew it up clean.
3.385 - Blew it up clean, left weight on the floor so this will be higher next meet.

Pause Bench
1.275 - Disqualified attempt because I moved my head.
2.275 - Blew it up left more weight on the ground
3.315 - No energy after everything so I couldn't lock this out.. WILL BE HIGHER NEXT MEET.

Deadlift(second time to ever do this)
1.350 - Easy
2.380 - Easy
3.425 - I didn't even have this weight originally because my friend didn't get it so I wasn't even going to try, then I was like **** this I'm gonna beat you chad... so I tried it and got it

Overall I was disappointed with my numbers, but it was my first meet so I still have room to improve. I got 7th place, but would have gotten 4th in 198... so it shows you 181 division is way more competitive. A guy warmed up with 550 in my division for squat.. wow.

hey WildHockey if you're interested im sure your on there but http://www.thspa.us/Default.aspx it shows all pl meets and lifters in texas with rankings and stuff like that.

btw you can find your lifts on there and show it to the ppl who don't believe you on the forum, quick proof without maxing out for them.

Powerlifting is over, I couldn't make regionals cause my squat wasn't over 500. A couple of friends and I talked to our coach about making a "405 Bench Club" for those few people that reach 405 bench in highschool. I have a while to go but if you make it he puts your name on a giant trophy of a guy benching and will be kept in the weight room which I find pretty cool... so thats my new goal.

too bad about missing regionals but you have a lot to be proud of with that bench at your bodyweight. 405 would be HUGE but seriously- you're chest has gotten really strong. nice job- and good luck hitting 405.

nice work on gettin your bench max up to 365! that's awesome, especially at your age and weight class. the CGBP is looking solid too and those Arnold DBs are pretty crazy. your military has gotta be up there now. real solid work!
