yup... that means your muscle fibers are overly torn as a result of the workout. it's characterized by soreness.. nangyayari if you've just started to lift weight or newly back after many weeks of gym inactivity.

Plus around $30 for the shipping. so $90 total ng order mo.

kinda simple to say but a bit hard to do. here are some PRACTICAL advices:
- train heavy. none of that 'lightweight/high-rep' bs. 6-10 reps of the heaviest weight that you can handle (for those specific range). sometimes go even lower/heavier. just make sure you have a spotter to assist just in case. get strong. more muscle = faster metabolism..
- cardio. specifically do slow cardio. everyday if you can, anytime. 45-60mins per session. bike, treadmill, dsnt matter. just make sure that it's slow, meaning no huffing & puffing. if your lifting that day, you can do it after you train..
- make sure you get enough rest
- & of course, the most imoprtant, diet/nutrition. lets keep it simple, not too specific. for what it's worth, keep protein intake high. moderate carbs & fat. the key here is to control your total calories per day. put aside any food that is not necessary. gradually eat less or consume less calories. when I say gradually, meaning no drastic drop. thats a big mistake. try dropping a few bites everyday. & monitor how you respond. nevermind the weighing scale (as much as possible, it's hard, I know, LOL). look at the mirror.
you can eat your fave treat if your craving. just eat a few bites per week. & drink a lot of fluids, specifically water. if you have time, try to figure out you Basal Metabolic Rate. there's a formula for that, try to search in the Nutrition Forum. figuring that out is a big help, coz we can determine your BMR, figure out how much your total calories per day should be, & we can work around it. also just so we can help you better, if you can, please post exactly what you eat everyday. the amount, kinds of food, etc.
you can do it man. keep working hard..

IMHO, you can only set one goal at a time. For now, I think you stick to your weight loss goal. I don't think you can lose muscle that much when you're working out and just like what airnz said have a good diet.
Oh, btw, congrats, from 43 to 37% BF. Not bad.

At 39% BF you probably won't lose any muscle mass while losing weight. You'll probably gain some muscle while losing weight. When you're obese you can afford to lose weight quickly without losing muscle mass. I've been there dati akong 40+% ngayon I'm at 21%. Not at my goal yet but I'm getting there. Hopefully before I go to PI I can be at sub 15%. Listen to airnzah, lift heavy and watch what you eat.
@Alex: I'll see you there then. Is it true that a lot of celebrities train there?

I've heard about this place. My brother is is a pill whore goes here to get his supplements. This is the one near greenwich and jollibee right? Small entrance? it's like a factory outlet of supplements.
Airforce 1 is the place where flight 168 is. Flight 168 is a health club. When my cousins and uncles visit the PI, This is the first place we go to. I am not a fan of pay for sex, but I have to say, girls are are really hot. Most of them even prettier than celebs. You often see ladies here posing for FHM, Maxim, Playboy.
To supplement users:
You guys really see a difference in size? It has positive effects on you?

not really detailed though, lol.
just remember to keep your protein up & consistent (1g of protein per 1lbs of lean body mass is a good guideline). & don't be afraid of the carbs & fat (dietary, not animal fat), just as long as you don't go overboard w/ the calories.
regarding the cardio, it's up to you if you want to do it fast (for 20-30mins) or slow (45-60mins). slow cardio is advisable here, just so you're on the safe side, in terms of not losing (or preserving) muscle mass together w/ the fat. also, to avoid being overly fatigued, especially in training. I think ur current cardio (I assume that's 2 hours of walking & an hour of running, per day?) is a bit too much. keep it an hour per day. be patient w/ it. like I said, too drastic of a drop in weight is NOT good.

THESE..
etuckram, take advantage of your weight right now. the heavier you are, the more weight you can lift, the more muscle you can gain. besides, wouldn't it be better that by the time you burn off the BF, putok na yung mga maskels mo! lol
also, focus on your NUTRITION. cant stress that enough. it will make or break you! & to help you better, please post a detailed sample of what you eat everyday..
@ Badshot, great progress bro, keep at it!
