5 to 6 small meals a day. start off wif complex carbs, fibre and protein and slowly converting to greens after ur 3rd meal, last meal shud be not later than 8 pm at least 10 pm if u just cant resist it. simple carbs for late meal since our insulin sensitivity decrease at night unless u work out just be4. count calories. 1 protein = 1 carb = 4 calorie, fat = 9 calorie. a calorie-needed-a-day link http://www.shapefit.com/dailycalorie-calc.html
protein needed a day shud be 1-2 g per pound of bodyweight, carbs 2 g/pound bodyweight, fat 0.5g/pound. eat mostly good fat such as poly and monosaturated. avoid any wif transfat. sodium such be 1000mg to 2000mg a day. neva eat anything more than 10g of sat fat per meal, i dnt eat anyhting more than 5g.
drink bulks of water and sleep well.
all the best

Keep in mind that you should be eating carbs, as they are your source for energy. The actual percentage is debatable, but 35-45% of your daily intake probably isn't too far off. Just beware of what kind of carbs you are eating. Stick to complex carbs for the most part (whole grain pasta, potatoes etc). Eat more earlier in the day. Keep the simple carbs for during or right after a workout.
