Bizarre, but legit, question....
Ok... I have started losing the inches FINALLY! I already feel better and have more energy! I am starting to love running and lifting! But I have one little problem... extra skin... I know, I know.... Gross.... but after gaining so much weight during my pregnancy, I am having the hardest time getting rid of it...
What do ya'll recommend?

Just keep on cutting down the weight but do it slowly like 1-2 pounds a week.

the only thing you can do is wait it out and see what your genetics say.
Otherwise a tummy tuck my be a reality.
But your child should be a worthy sacrifice for your saggy belly skin. At least that's what some people say anwyays.

Time and plenty of fish oil. You can lose weight faster than your skin can recover, so it can take a while for your skin to tighten up again. Make sure your problem really is skin and not fat. If it rolls, it's fat, if it wrinkles, it's loose skin.
Some of those pregnancy oils massaged in can help a bit, so can a diet with plenty of good fats, including lots of fish oil.

The question is not bizarre and extra skin ain't that gross either. This is what this section is for, you can bulk a little bit and see if the muscles replace the fat. If not, try wait it out a little bit or
cut it (surgery)

yes take 2 caps of fish oil ( not concentrated ) 3 times a day. plus go buy some Palmer's cocoa butter lotion ( any of the types ) and also buy some Vitamin E body oil
rub the lotion into the skin and then squrt a little oil on there and rub it in. Do this around 2 times a day on the loose skin section.
All three of these things will help with skin flexibility and with time you will notice it tighten.
Also make sure to drink plenty of water, hydration is also key to skin flexibility.
I have no real problem with loose skin so far but I have been following this advice for quite some time.

Loose Skin of the Stomach comes in many different degrees.
Being patient helps. After massive weight loss loose skin can be a factor. For gastric bypass patients, it can take from 6 to 18 months after weight stabilization for the skin to catch up. Pregnancy stretching is typically for a much shorter interval than for the massive weight loss patient and typically takes a few months. How much it will shrink depends on how damaged the connective tissue that makes up the skin and deeper layers.
Hope this helps,

Hey, just saw your progress photos. I don't mean this in a bad way, but forget about loose skin, I don't think it will even be a problem for you. What you are seeing is fat, sorry but its true. if you lose 40 pounds you will no longer have them. I lost nealy 80 pounds and my skin tightened up and stretchmarks faded. Just focus on diet (calorie deficit), weights and cardio. You will look fine
I am only being blunt because I have a girl friend who thinks her problem is that she retains water but she is about 50 pounds overweight and cant accept it, I am sure you are not like her, just being honest good luck
