Groin/side pain

about a week ago i got a dull soreness in my groin and testicle i had a hernia before and it was about the same spot so i went to the emergency room to get it checked out i saw 2 doctors one said groin strain and another said a small hernia. then i went to my doctor a few days later and he said he couldnt feel a hernia so it was probaly a groin strain he said no lifting for 2 weeks. think i should just take the 2 weeks then see if it persists or gets worse?

i had the same problem and i had 4 doctors check it out by exam. all of them said a groin strain. went to a specialist after 6weeks of not getting better and had a ultrasound a found a small hernia on the lower right side. hopefully its a strain. lots of ice and ibprofen. later mel
