doing both contests
How many ladies are doing both Hydroxycut Max contest and the MuscleTech transformation?
I myself have decided to just enter the Hydroxycut Max contest.
The prizes seem fine to me.. Its nice that the ladies have
our own contest going. More power to all the ladies competing
in both... Hope everyone has a great weekend.

hmm
yea..again, it's NOT complaining..it's called "curiosity" joakman...negativity is EXACTLY what NO forum needs...it's understandable that the general contest will generate more money..therefore, the prize money makes since...just wondering why such a huge difference...thank you, for whomever stated that women may generate lesser profit per purchase...
money is money...:-) both contests are great ideas for committing to our transformations..i'm excited to see how muscletech products aid in MY and EVERYONE elses lives..again, i wish everyone the best...:-)

Hope everyone is doing well! Just curious if anyone was allowing a cheat meal...?
I plan to start my cut in Feb so I'm sill having one cheat meal a week. just went out for dinner with friends, guess that's why i'm thinking about it! Ate clean all day and put in a long hard day at the gym. Had a vodka diet, a BBQ salmon (I scrapped off most of the BBQ-it was a sandwich and i didn't touch the bun) and sweet potato fries. My friends and I always go to the same spot because the fries are so good there! So...anyone else allowing a cheat? Any favorite cheat meals...?

I've been going for a little over 2 weeks and haven't had a cheat, which is hard b/c the BF eats some yummy food lol. Last night I had to watch him eat fried haddock, clam strips and onion rings w/ tartar sauce while I had no breading baked haddock w/ brown rice I cooked at home lol. Oh ya, and he bought an ice cream pie for himself, grrr. I have surprised myself so far with my willpower, something I usually lack. Oh well, I'm like the results I see! I eat 1/4c. of honey roasted peanuts on Friday and Saturday night and consider that my "snack". So far it's been working, but I might be going nuts by the end!
My favorite cheats are cheesecake, outback steakhouse blue cheese filet dinner w/ wild rice + the bread (lots of bread lol) and a regular old ice cream sundae w/ coffee ice cream. =)

Awesome! Yeah, I was debating whether or not to include a cheat, but as long as I don't over do it, it's normally OK. I'm going to nix the cheat meal when I start my cut...hopefully I'll have your willpower!
I used to always weight lift and pretty much eat clean, and really was on the way to the body I wanted but last year for some reason I decided it was OK not to care what I put in my mouth because "eh, I work out enough" (I still don't know what I was thinking!) But, I used to call Friday's Cheat Days....and believe me...I cheated...the whole damn day! That phase only lasted a few months, but I feel like I'm STILL paying for it!

I didn?t plan on cheating a little but it did happen a couple of times in the past two weeks. It wasn?t drastic though just some nibbles here and there of things that I should have passed on. I prefer that than an actual cheat meal that way I can have a taste of something if I really really want or need to. Last night my boyfriend made chocolate chip cookies and asked if I wanted one. I said no but my head was shaking yes. He said have two bites . . . I did and enjoyed every taste. I just wrote it down in my journal. Everything that goes in my mouth is accounted for in writing.

4 Day Weekend
My kids have been home the past three days so my workouts have suffered. I played with my oldest today on the Wii Fit but I don't think that qualifies as a workout. Couple that with it being my TOM and not eating that well....I'm not giving up but I needed to get that off my chest :~)

cheat meals
Well, I have not cheated, yet that is. See my husband and I are both doing a contest he is doing the Muscle Tech one and we had planed to cheat for our 1st wedding anniversary, but just for a really nice dinner. I think that is a good reason. Once is not that bad I think... Some times I know it can do your body good, just shocking it for a meal.... Anyways.... Keep up the good work...

Well my boyfriend and I are hiring a personal trainer to help us both
reach our goals for the contests! Of course they are both totally opposite of
each other. Mine is to lose and his is to gain. Hopefully we will have our first
workout with her this week. We kind of really slacked off in the gym last week but plan on getting back on track again this week. ( I was in a depression for a day or two but feel much better now!)
I think we will be working out tonight! Must hit those weights and the dreaded cardio..lol.

Hi Weezy,
No cheat meals for me. I need to stay on track or all hell! breaks loose, LOL. If I want something sweet it's a bowl of fruit with yogurt and if it is carbs, I make this killer homemade whole wheat pizza with soy cheese. Besides loosing weight at my age seems to be harder than it did when I was 20. If you can have a cheat day and stay on track then go for it, just be careful not to go overboard. Good luck and GO LADIES!!

Ok, one more question regarding the newspaper deal. I have taken my pictures with our newspaper here in Paradise Ca. It's the closest major city near me since I do live in the mountains. Are you "Hydroxycut Max Representative" ok with that or should I send for a newspaper to be mailed to me? Thanks Blurosemarie :-)

Congratulations on taking part in this contest and thank you for posting your question. I've noticed a few other girls asking similar questions about the newspaper requirementsc, so this one seemed like a good place to start.
When taking your Before pictures, any major-market or major-city newspaper will do just fine. So - YES - The Boston Globe is okay!
The most important element is that the date is clearly visible - so please remember to include a close-up shot of the paper?s front page when doing your Before pictures.
Thanks again and good luck with the Contest,
The Hydroxycut Max! Rep

Those sound like good ideas! I'm pretty good at not going overboard..although I have in the past...hence the gaining of unwanted weight! One meal a week hasn't been detrimental yet-but, I'm still bulking until the end of January. Once I start my cut in Feb, I'm cutting out the cheat meal too!

Is anyone having any negative side effects at all? I've been feeling extremely nauseous lately and I'm not even up to the full dose (currently doing 2pills twice a day).

cheat meals!
I do have 1 bad meal a week...I can't help it coming from eating out basically every meal. I love pizza so so much...so that is my bad meal for the week. Maybe eventually I can cut out that... or start making it at home which is a little healthier.
Has anyone noticed the pills smell good? I like taking them. My multivitamin on the other hand....makes me gag. ugh

I don't allow myself to cheat, ever. but I think it depends on what your used to and what your willing to work off later. I have been into the concept of no cheat meal for a few years so it does not bother me that I am missing out on fries, or other things like that. But there are many people who do have atlest ONE cheat meal a week and their fine! So no need to stress, that will only make you possibly gain some.. u know (from the stressors), Don't be let down Weezy! Your doin good just as long as u stay on track after that meal. Good luck!

I started 1/12 but am just getting around to posting. Here are my before pics:

Oh, and I have definitely had some nausea with them. I believe the reason is not taking enough water with it AND waiting too long to eat after taking it. I am watching both closely today and we shall see.

Refusing to Let Anything In My Way
I have been having childcare issues. I don't think I'll be able to go to the gym today due to the fact that both the workers in my son's room quit. So now they won't be having childcare for infants until further notice. A lot of nice people have been givng me alternatives but as a stay at home mom, money is always tight so 24 hr fitness, although they do have daycare, is way too expensive. (On post childcare is free to families that have a deployed member). Also since my oldest is is school, going down to the Naval Base makes me a bit nervous, plus I'm not too familiar with where it is. Normally I take my baby to the little cardio gym but I had scheduled Tuesdays with a trainer. I won't just give up though. Today I'll work out in my house by doing the wonderful housework regimne Then I'll just revamp and do some cardio at the other gym and use my dumbells for the strength training. Its not my first choice but I refuse to just give up. Sorry for all this ranting, I just needed to vent. Don't let anyone stand in the way of your goals

Hi! Thanks for the encouragement as it's always appreciated! That's great that you've been without cheats for so long! I bet you don't even crave stuff anymore! I'm not really stressing about allowing a cheat meal, as I think it helps me to recognize that I can have some treats without going crazy. (although it did happen once before...but that was after a horrible breakup...I never wanted to be that girl that found comfort in ice cream, but damn it helped at the time! )
I'm definitely not let down by allowing a cheat meal once a week, especially since I am able to get right back on track. I was just curious if other people did!
