Take it from me bro, lifting heavy ass weights is really fun, but when you get older, your joints will remind you everyday of how much fun it was, I still lift heavy, not nearly as much as I used to when I was your age, and I have some serious daily aches and pains. It may seem like you are invincible, but lifting that heavy will take its toll in time. I dont want to see you end up with the aches and pains I have in my elbows and shoulders.

Theres a way to go about that and stay health free. Research into it. Things like stretching on your offday to get out the kinks. You can lift heavy and not only keep from getting aches and pains but also making them stronger.

I used to think this when I was fifty pounds heavier, and to be honest with you I used it as an excuse for a long time to stay out of the gym (i.e. "my years of powerlifting hurt my body and that's why I can't work out anymore"), but since I've dropped that weight my joints don't hurt at all. I think you're right that there is an impact, but the bigger impact (at least for me) was walking around with 50 extra lbs every day, not the time in the gym, and it ends up becoming a question of cost/benefit. Since I've been back into lifting heavy I've never felt better. Both of my shoulders have been torn out from rugby injuries, I've got bad knees from football, but the weight training actually has made the pain in all of them go away over the last year. A big part of that has been a healthy mix of cardio/sports in with the weight lifting, vice solely focusing on lifting maybe.
EDIT: Not to hijack though -- C you're rocking and rolling along buddy, I love following your journal.

No worries bro, I have make the necessary changes to avoid injuries!
I ask around, read and also listen to my body!
I believe tha this weight will do me more harm in the long than lifting heavy!

**** our tricep machine only goes to like 130lbs then you have to move to the leverage free weight one
seems like you should be able to handle more on the vbar cable press then, for me its easier to do more weight on that vs the machine press
i guess thats why we are all so different, lol

I should but the cable on that side only went to 95 lbs! So just stayed there and finish instead of moving to another spot!
As for the machine it goes up to 270 lbs, so at the limit!
Yep, we are all different!

Had to meet with my parents for the annual review of their will and estate planning!
No matter how often I do or will do this, I don't see me getting used to talking to my parents about when they die and how much me and my siblings will be getting
Meeting with the final planner and estate lawyer on Friday the 30th at 9AM. so have to drive to NJ again on thursday 29th!

Don't you only have to attend those things when the people who took out the will/trust change things? Never known anyone to have an annual one to go over stuff that is the same percentages. Fill me in here O heir to the thrown

I mostly attend because I have been taking care of my parents financial matters for over 3 years now, in one way or another! But had knowledgeabout it since I was 15-16.
So they make me attend for the following reasons:
1.- I am the oldest
2.- They don't want to get robbed or lied to do
3.- I am more knowledgable in those matters..
4.- Again, I am the oldest!
Being the oldest in our culture means alot (I am haitian)...basically next on line, the man of the house if my dad were to passed away, in charge of everything from the money to my siblings! Which is why I was informed of my parents financial affairs early on.
Heck if my dad was to passed away, my mom would have to rely on me for everything even if the money would technically be all hers! But I would be the executor of the estate....still old school beliefs were men are smarter than women and I should know what is best for my mom better than my mom
Now for my parents, we do an annual review because it does not only entails to their estate/will but also to my dad's business (tax time) and their rental properties!
So basically they start putting everything together, make plan for the new year, make sure insurance is in good standing, health coverage, long term care, etc.
I guess it is just a habit that stayed with them. New year, time to make sure all is still in order!
My uncles and aunts does the same thing! 3 of my cousins had to fly in from other states for it (I only had to drive) and one have to actually go to Haiti in March to make sure they are taking care of his parents estate there like they should! I have to go in July to see the properties I was gifted at 18 (yeah, I have land somewhere than I have never seen...can you say crazy).
Basically it is a keep it all in the family thing! You know about the will before the person dies to avoid fights or anything! If you have a problem, say it now or forever SHUT UP mentality!
Ex: I informed my parents that I was going to take extra life insurance policy on them with my own money because I felt that while everything would be tied up to settle their estate (mortgage left, house that will be kept or sold, busines associates, etc) , I might need the money to make sure my siblings are okay! We discussed the amount and agreed that 250K on each would be good! I have to call an insurance company to set it up! Some would say it is creepy to tell/talk to my parents about how much money you are going to take on them, but to us it comes naturally! My mom was actually laughing and joking
Also, too many estate lawyers have robbed families because nobody else besides the person that had the estate knew what was going on or written!
My parents have 4 kids and we all have a copy of the will, and copy of where is everything : bank accounts, brokerage account, deeds, life insurance, etc. My aunt has 9 kids and she made 9 copies

Calories...
Starting yesterday I will be helping out a friend with his business he started! So will be working from 10 PM to 6:30 AM about 3-4 times a week depends on my availability!
I decided to make a cut of time of 12AM...meaning anything I eat after 12 am, will be added for the next day.
Anyway, testing out my scale! So here is my last meal of the day.
**DISCLAIMER : I did not eat all the chicken ad asparagus! I was full
So a bit less than 900 calories, I am guessing 800 or less, but was not in the mood to weight the left over food!
