wife bought donughts last night and pizza tonight. OH I feel so strong. Not one bite. 25K on the mind, six pack on my abs also on the mind. I hope the rest of you can be strong. If you get a craving, drink water, grab some almonds. I found some that are roasted in dark chocolate. Man are they good. Emerald is the brand. Does any one have some good chicken recipes or any other good snack?

Hey! I've used the Gakic on and off and absolutely love it!! I'm gonna try the Gakic Hardcore though because I really want to transform and be able to lift heavy again. I truly did notice a difference in lifting with Gakic. Granted you have to take 8 super huge pills before your workout, but drink lots of water of course. I noticed I could lift heavier, I could lift longer (not as much fatigue) and my recovery time was about half. I absolutely love it! Try it out!

Yeah, but if someone is going to CHEAT, then they are going to do it with something they enjoy. Not everyone enjoys an extra cup of plain oatmeal! I understand people have different views on whether or not they should cheat, but some people may need that one meal every week or every two in order to stay on top of their game. The goal is to understand to do things in moderation. A lot of us our in this contest because we could not do that. Hopefully this contest will help us change our habits. No, there is no automated email or anything. If, however, you go to the registration page and try registering again, it will tell you that you're already registered. Thus, you're on the list.

Agreed! To each his/her own but cheating to me isn't eating more. I eat all day and in fact, I am starting to get sick of eating! I'm almost full by the time I start so eating extra would be punishment. I've been cursed with a terrible sweet tooth and was raised with a family who I don't think even knows what protein is little less was it an important part of the meal. So when I feel the need for a cheat, it's gonna be with something comforting like cake/ice cream/brownie or something just as awful like white bread or chips! And it will taste good and I'll hate myself and not want it for a while.
A trick I use is every time I crave something, I write it down. And then when I make a decision to cheat, I look at my list and see what I still want which is usually very little of it and then enjoy a little. So far I've only had one cheat meal and I'm good again. Staying full and drinking lots of water is a big help too.

Currently sitting around 215 from my original start of around 225. The thing im more excited about is that I seemed to have gained alittle under half an inch on my chest and shoulders and I dropped half an inch on my hips and legs. Arms stayed the same. Hopefully things will continue along those lines.
Got paid so ordered the 2nd set of supps tonight.
Hope all is well with everyone.

Question for MT Reps, when I seen J_C ( http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/j_...n=progresspics ) Pictures without his full face showing I reread the rules, and it doesn't specifically say that your face has to be visible? Does it need to?

Hey everybody!
Phaymus and to everyone...thank you for your prayers for me and my wife. We are working things out
Im very happy.
I told someone at work about the MuscleTech Challenge. He may enter too but hasnt decided yet.
But he did tell me that bodybuilding.com has discount codes and sent me this link that provided discount codes!
http://www.couponchief.com/bodybuilding
I was going to buy more MuscleTech products anyways and since today is payday for me, I used one of the codes on there and got 10% off on my entire order!
And the best thing is....the discount code for 10% off doesnt expire til 7/31/2010! So we can actually keep using this code to save 10% off the entire order until 2010 everytime we make purchases on bodybuilding.com Hell yes!
I recommend you guys use this code to save money
Well, going to bed...you guys have a good night!

Good to see folks are doing so well right off the start.
I'm down a few pounds from the 1st, but am noticing the changes more by sight then anything else. Something I couldn't do a month ago was look at my arms and see the separation between the delts and triceps. I'm mostly gaining my old strength back to start but will be kicking it into high gear in a week or so look out, I don't think I've even looked as good as I will come May.

Holly is being modest in not mentioning her own gains, but she has been busting her butt in the gym every day since the 2nd, with cardio and circuit training, a good diet and using Nitro-Tech and HydroxyCut Max. . . and she has lost several inches around her tummy and many pounds! She's looking great and wearing smaller clothes, and we've both been having a lot of fun with this contest and seeing and feeling the improvements in ourselves.
It's good to hear your stories of training and diet and sucess also, it helps us to stay motivated knowing that a lot of other folks are working hard too! Keep up the good work, everybody!

Thanks to ThreeForce for the discount code link. I just got my Hydroxycut Hardcore in the yesterday and starting taking this morning. The discount code will definitely help as I am planning my next Muscletech supplement purchases.
I am only four days but feel very motivated. I am especially excited to see the great results everyone is getting. I'll update my progress two weeks in. I have a week long trip out of state and am looking forward to the challenge of eating clean on the road (and finding a new place to work out every day as I will be in different cities each day).

You know it still sucks though, right? My wife brought home Oreos that my son picked out among other things. Man those Oreos looked good, lol.

I've lost half an inch on my waist, and figured out I'm doing way too little cardio. All of a sudden everyone is trying to get in the way of my gym time. But more importantly I'm not feeling like crap at work (3rd shift), and will keep driving forward.
Keep up the good work, everyone seems to have lots of heart!

I'm fired-up!
What's up, everyone! Just wanted to say that I'm fired-up! Hope everyone is tracking. I'm going to start ny SUPPs in Feb.....I feel good without them right now, I'm back to 405 for reps on bench and 225 for reps on shoulder press...so I'm hype. Just don't know what SUPP to add to my arsenal in Feb...... myoshock or halo? If anyone has any suggestions, please hit me up. I'm gunning for the number 1 spot, so I am workiing hard as hell!

my wife is preggers so we have all kinds of junk food around: pretzels, doritos, cookies, ben & jerrys ice cream, you name it. i haven't really had any desire for any of it... yet. i'm not a big fan of fast food so thats definitely not my ideal cheat food but i have no problem cooking up my own cheat foods. might whip up some tacos or some fried chicken with mashed potatos this weekend though

Just wanted to give an update. Its day 13 today, I'm down 5 pounds and feel great. This contest really gave me something to work towards, I enjoy reading all your posts! I'm planning on cheating tomorrow night while I'm on a date with my husband. We are going to go out to eat and I'm having a bacon, avacado burger!!! Sooo good, and then we're going to watch UFC on PPV!! A perfect date.
Congrats to everyone and stay motivated! Have a great weekend!

Obstacles...
Everyone seems to be doing well with their diets and training. That's awesome!
I just found out this morning that I am being volunteer (voluntold) to travel to Kansas City everyweek for 6-8 weeks for work! Bummer!!! This means I will be eating out every day only twice a day! Lunch with clients, dinner with co-workers! Workout?? Hopefully the Firm will put me up in a hotel with "State-of-the-art" fitness center. Wish me luck!

Thank you! I will get on the Gakic and let you know how it goes. So far Aplodan and Leukic have given me fast results! Unfortunately, A NOTE TO EVERYONE: don't be lazy, like me, and take Before Pictures without shaving first. If you notice all previous winners were pretty much hairless! I'll be retaking some new befores.
Good Luck ttyl!

How exactly do I get this to work? I clicked on the "use it" buton and it took me to the main Bodybuilding site.
Edit: Nevermind. It helps typing with one's head fully removed from the arse.

Wow, Way to go all. Sounds like allot of us are having great success!! Congrats
Like my IronCharles said (although I am quite embarrassed that he posted it)I too have been loosing inches and lbs, This Morning I weighed in under 200, at 199.4. I am excited about that starting off at 207 with NO muscle. I have lost at least 4 inches around my waist (we are going to measure all tonight). Earlier in the week I was having no loss in weight and I was getting kind of worried that my body had already gotten used to my low carb high protein diet and activity and was going into "starvation mode" . So I took my waist measurement and was down 4" I couldnt believe it, I kept asking Charles, if I had the tape in the right spot. I know I have been gaining muscles too because I am being able to lift heavier weights for more reps than I could previously. (and I am very pleased I got my protein gas problem sorted out, whoot no more gas pains)
I am getting an added benefit from this contest too. My husband is also gaining muscle like crazy. He is looking GOOD and feeling better than he has in years, I know that sounds like a benefit for him, but trust me, It is a benefit for me tooo . It is great for both of us to be working together in this contest even though we are headed at this contest from different points he started under 20% fat where I was 38% fat.

Hey Jordonimo,
You're making me hungry!!! Fried Chickien, don't do it, bro. If you want to cheat use nuts, like madles says, or chocolate, maybe honey w/ all natural triscuit crackers is a favorite for both a salt and sweet fix. Avoid fried and also hydrogenated oils, (they're almost impossible to burn and don't benefit you like, say, any fat found in fish oil caps or an avacado).
Just a suggestion...
