Here is my diet in advance for week 3
Protein sh Breakfast Protein sh Lunch Pre workout Protein sh Dinner Protein sh
1.5 scoops 1 egg + 7 Whites 1.5 scoops 8oz eye of round NaNOvapor 1.5 scoops 7 oz chk/ 1c broc 1.5 scoops
8 oz milk 1/2cOats +1 tbs npb 8 oz milk 1c asp 3oz yams 1 scoops 8 oz milk 2 slice wheat bread 8 oz milk
1tbs A-1 Pace 4tbs
Flax seed oil 2 g Flax seed oil 2g
I use a microsoft excel spreadsheet to tally my calories and where they are coming from. That way it is easy to make changes to as I need to adjust. This diet is giving me 2500 calories a day, which is a huge drop from the 5-7000 a day I'd been taking in. (I can eat alot). I also split a multivitamin in half and take three halves at varying intervals throughout the day.
Something nobody has metioned is weighing food. This is the only way to know exactly what you are getting each and everyday. It is hard to make adjustments to your diet if you don't know precise amounts. This way I can fine tune my diet to keep progress from slowing. I will post updated pictures every thursday night for those who care and will weigh in every 4 days although I'm rather uninterested in what happens with my weight.
Supplementation includes hydroxycut hardcore, and I'm trying leukic, and gakic.

YOU LOOK PRETTY GOOD, IF THINGS SLOW DOWN, TAKE MINIMAL CHANGES, NOT DRASTIC ONES. WHAT KIND OF PROTEIN BAR ARE YOU EATING, IN MY OPINION
i would probably take the protein bar out.(why...most has sugar and you cant really make protein into a solid bar..so they have to add stuff(chemicals, and or certain fat oils to make it into a solid form)
2. try to take out the almond in your post training meal and (if you want) replace it with some carbs, but you dont have too.(the fat in the almonds slow down the digestive rate of the protein, and you want the protein to to quickly reach body after training..the carbs help it go a lil faster, muscletech halo, or some foods like rice, potatoes or fruits.
but everything else looks pretty good for now. you may wanna switch some lil things up every 2-4 weeks depending on how things are goin....Dave Goodin is a genius by the way!!

Getting back in shape!
Hey what's up guys! I'm getting in this competition because I have been really slacking. I graduated from WVU in December with my bachelors in Animal and Nutritional Sciences and I let myself go since I went to the beach in August. My semester was a little hectic. I am trying to get into vet school so I had a lot of school work to do. My girlfriend is doing this contest and she encouraged me to do this, so I guess she is telling me something. lol Anyways I just wanted to post a quick message explaining why I'm doing this. My goal is put on some muslce then cut down. I will be posting my pictures today after the Steeler game. Let's Go STEELERS!!!!!

I'm thinking about purchasing Leukic hardcore and Creakic hardcore to help put some muscle on. Does anyone have any insight on these products? Thanks!

Thanks, I am very carb sensitive, a gain fat like white is on rice. My morning work schedule it tough to get in a whole meal, so I just through a bar in my pocket, I know that it is not the best, but it is better than skipping. BTW you are a freaking house!!

I'd suggest http://Photobucket.com as a free photo-sharing Web site. You upload your pics and can even crop and re-size them while you're there. Then you can take their UBB code (it's all explained on that site) and post that coding here and your pictures will appear. Best of luck in the contest!
There are other photo sites, but that's the one I'm familiar with. Also ACE1980 has posted at least one link or post with instructions in this thread. Do a search and you should be able to find his posts. All worth reading.

contest
This competition is great for many reasons. One being that if you really intend to win and you put your heart into it you must have restraint and discipline in all aspects of your life.It motivates you to transform any bad habit you may have such as acohol abuse. For me alcohol abuse had been a problem for me in the past.Lifting weights changed that, because there was no way for me to get drunk the night before and get up the next morning and go to the gym and perform the way I needed to achieve my goals. It was either my health or alcohol, I chose my health and my goals at hand.Recently I started slacking off of my training program and started back with alcohol.I saw it for myself that I needed to get back to me, and was working on that but when I saw this competition, I got really excited and thought to myself that this was more than enough motivation for me.In the past I pushed myself for self achievement and I never really wanted to compete on stage but this is just right for me.I really want to win so I know I must use strict discipline, hard work & and a plan on order to win. This gives me a purpose to put in the work that I and an answer to those who question why I eat the way I do or put the work that I do.

You're welcome. Hey, you're >< that close to posting your pics without using Photobucket.
You posted this:
[ img]http://forum.bodybuilding.com/photo/showphoto.php?photo=3876253&limit=recent[/img]
If you load just the URL - http:// forum.bodybuilding.com/photo/showphoto.php?photo=3876253&limit=recent - in a new browser window and then click that link, you can get the image location off of that pic.
When you see the pic just "Right Click" and copy the image location ("Copy Image Location"). It's http:// forum.bodybuilding.com/photo/data/500/medium/side_chest232.jpg for that pic or link.
Then stick that in the UBB coding [ img] link here [/img]
It will look like this: [ img]http://forum.bodybuilding.com/photo/data/500/medium/side_chest232.jpg[/img]
There's an extra space in the beginning. I put it there for illustration purposes or so the coding appears here. Delete that space and you'll get this:
Anyway, that's probably clear as MUD. Photobucket is free and it's pretty intuitive. I'm no tech guy, so if I can figure it out...
Note: I also added a space after the http:// so it wouldn't become a hot link. Don't do that if you choose to try out those steps.
Good luck to all with the photos! We now return to EXERCISE AND NUTRITION POSTS!

Well, mine is not the best, but I'm not too worry about it right now. I'll start a better diet towards the end. I'm just concentrating on bulking up and getting out of the "ouch, my muscle hurts today from three days ago phase "...
This is about typical for me since I started this contest:
Pre-breakfast: 3 Hydroxicut Hardcore
Breakfast: Either ham sandwish, or Oatmeal, or 4 Eggs white with a joke or two. With either one of the above, I have some kind of fruit to get the taste of my mouth, multivitamins and fish oil. I drink either water of OJ (of course water to down all the supplements).
Snacking between breakfast and lunch: Fruits or peanuts
Lunch: Something healthy with no or little fat (i.e. salad, rice and chicken, etc.)
Between lunch and dinner: If I get hungry, I'll eat either fruit, yogurt or peanuts
Dinner: Not much different than lunch. Usually my current day dinner is my next day lunch. I also take another fish oil at this time.
Pre-workout: 3 Hydroxicut Hardcore and a fruit so I don't get too shaky.
After-workout: Cell-tech + more fruit, maybe some chicken if I'm really hungry and at least 30 min later Nitro-Tech.
I know a lot of folks eyes are probably about to pop-out out of their faces after reading this, but lets be real, I can't afford to buy 100 chickens to have 8 meals a day so I have to compensate with my workout and with not eating crap like I was before the contest started.
My Workout Schedule
Monday: Off
Tuesday: AM - Cardio >>> PM - Chest
Wednesday: PM - Back
Thursday: AM - Cardio >>> PM - Legs
Friday: Fun night to spend time with wifey
Saturday: AM - Cardio >>> PM - Shoulders
Sunday: PM - Arms
Currently, for cardio, I'm doing 2 miles on the threadmill because is freezing outside and 15 minutes on the stationary bike. I'm increasing the distance to 3 miles next week and bike to 20 minutes. Once it starts to warm up and the wind starts to die down (around April usually), then I will doind most of this outside.
The workout with weights is so random that I would spend a week putting it all here. Basically I keep a paper log of what I do and when I have noting better to do I put it on my workout progress in my Bodyspace so I can make sure that I don't go backwards. I usually increase the weight and I never do the exercises in the same order just to keep my body guessing.
I can already hear people's comments, so fire away...

Mr.Next in Line, I visited your BodySpace profile. Maaan, you're already the AFTER pic. What are you going to do in the next 12 or 16 weeks?
Appreciate reading your posts and am enjoying the great information.
So far as sharing nutrition, I'm on a cut called the "wavelength" diet. wavelength is the user's name on another forum. He's from Austria, I believe, so he has the Arnold Schwarzenegger street cred.
Seriously, he made a dramatic cut and definitely looks like he's in great shape. His philosophy or strategy is to have one big meal per day along with 100 grams of protein distributed throughout the day in the form of shakes. I've been doing one trip to the buffet or diner and adding to that with four 25g protein shakes. I drink all the black coffee I want.
Rather unconventional but it definitely worked for him. I was at a plateau but have started to see some impact from this approach.
And here's a post that may prove helpful. It's actually a link to a fantastic transformation by a woman who is currently a National-level NPC amateur and knocking on the door to her IFBB pro card. Check it out:
