So for me it was a low carb day in the morning and had to workout in the evening. Took the shower cause I didn't want to be the stinky guy at the gym... got out and could not remember if I took my Hydroxycut Hardcore or not. (Carbs - brain food / No Carbs - Dumbass) So I remembered my NaNo X9 Hardcore I got as a free sample with my order. So I ripped open the package and ingest the 5 pills. Got my backpack on...got my Beyond H2o Water (plug) and mp3 player starting to pump up the tunes and off I go for my short jog to the gym as a warmup. (stopped taking my car when I realized I was a lazy ass - as it is not far from my house) On the jog to the gym I remembered I did indeed take the Hydroxycut!! Yikes!
Not more than 5 minutes from getting to the gym I was "PUMPED" Music could not be load enough... weights could not be heavy enough... everything was going awesome! 5 minutes later... I was like Damnnnnn my heart is pumping the blood today. Do a tri set of DB incline press, T-bar rows and barbell push press with 135lbs. Heart now coming out of my chest. Long story short... my rest periods had to be twice as long as usual... to get my heart rate atleast back down to the 140's-150's. Had a GREAT workout.. but will NEVER and I repeat NEVER do that again! Glad I have a good heart. But I did feel at some points were I was like damn... this sucks! But I made it thru with learning a great lesson! Never take the two together!
Peace,
Tim

-Thanks for making me laugh this morning CurtJames.
I think AZ and VT have laws against requiring contestants to purchase their products for a contest. This contest is requiring us to purchase MT products from bodybuilding.com
Speaking of MT products. I got mine and the cookies and cream Nitro-tech hardcore is delicious. I have never used MT products before and was expecting it to be something that was more of a "have to" kind of a supplement, but now I find myself looking forward to having it, Its the desert of my day. Yumm. It also fills me up so i dont have the munchies.

heh Well, that question has been answered to my satisfaction. I'm going to share an unattributed version of it ASAP. MuscleTech or Iovate is just doing what any company will do. The way I understand it is that any non-employee representative who is being sued will only have to get a signed letter from their company to say that they're not an employee to have the lawsuit rescinded or dropped.
I'm going to run that past one of the people who stated they were being sued, but it sounded legit. Most things can be deceiving, of course.
Anyway, VERY glad to make you laugh! haHA!

Interesting about AZ and VT. Thanks for that info! And thanks for laughing!
I'll have to add the cookies and cream Nitro-tech to my list.

I'm having a grilled chicken breast diced into some ramen noodle soup, some whey, some creatine, and a handful of vitamins for breakfast. Lunch will be a steak, some V-8 juice, and Nitro-Tech triple chocolate milkshake mixed with some flax powder. Haven't decided about dinner yet, but it will probably be something cooked on the George Forman grill.
I love the George Forman grill! (I have two, LOL!)

I love pancakes fried crispy slathered with gobs of peanut butter and drowning in a sea of maple syrup! I settle for egg whites, ground turkey and smother the whole thing in salsa so I don't puke. I do love my oatmeal though with banana cream protein powder and walnuts. YUM!

3. Can I use Hydroxycut Hardcore for this contest?
4. Must I use only MuscleTech supplements and if I don't then how will MT know?
5. Can I use the local penny saver as my newspaper because I'm currently unable to esca... um, leave my present surroundings and therefore am unable to get to a newsstand to purchase a USA Today.

14. It's so cold. What was that noise?
15. What size do the pictures have to be? Is this okay? --->
16. If I win, must I pay taxes on the prize money? Can I get it all in small bills?
17. Are you my mother?

IV. Are Six Star supplements allowed to be used for this contest?
iii. When do I get my free training program from rescuemadden? I've been standing by the mailbox since January 1.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Ha! What I received was a reasonable copy/paste. A day after SPACECLOWN received the same post. Oh, well. Better late than never and I got it delivered directly to my doorstep. Well, PM box.
SPACECLOWN seems satisfied (see his reply below), so that's a good thing. Hated to think anyone was being sued over voicing their opinion on any product.
Quote:
(snip)
Legal complaints were in fact filed against these companies and certain of their officers and agents for patent infringement that violates Iovate's intellectual property rights.
(snip)
in any case where a company involved in patent litigation with us provides us with an affidavit containing evidence confirming that any individual named in their case is not a principal of the Company, then those individuals will be removed from the case(s).
It is essential to be clear about one final issue which is, in many ways the most important of all. None of the claims in these cases relate to the free speech of any person or entity, and no one has been sued for expressing their opinion about Iovate or its products.

So from the boldfaced text above it seems as if company employees can be sued, but individuals are free to speak their mind. Interesting.
At least that's what this says to me: "in any case where a company involved in patent litigation with us provides us with an affidavit containing evidence confirming that any individual named in their case is not a principal of the Company, then those individuals will be removed from the case(s)."

I've been around this site a looooong time and I wish I had a dime for everyone I've seen give up and leave the site and quit lifting because of non support of a spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. It is truly sad.

Nice
I know the whole man sweater thing sucks - and where I am its not like I could have someone give me a buzz without losing many many man points in the barracks
add the fact that I am a ghost - No tanning beds here...
And OK who keeps sending me the dozen homemade cookies - You know snickerdoodles are the sniznick and you just can't eat one - that is unfair to cheat like that
Did I read that MT had Cookies? or was that Cookies and Cream something?
Ohhh Just played 5 back to back basketball games after doing my shoulder lifting against a guy who was 6 foot 6 345lbs - first time in a LOOOONNNGGGGG time I had someone who could push me around on the court - then I did windsprints after the game
I think I am gonna pass out now

Anyone have any cutting tips? I seem to to freeze at 268lbs. My top weight loss was 30lbs. last year till I slacked off, luckly I only got 15lbs of that back. Do I just need cardio 6-7 days a week or what!
