my only comment to all of this is to how people dress in the gym.
baggy pants that sag under your ass is not accepted in the gym, neither is teh shirt the you can wear as a nightgown , and sandles with socks , or shorts that can be pants ect.
listen i dont care how you dress outside teh gym but i mean come on now, for starters its not safe ... and thats prob why most gyms i been to have dress codes posted. just my oppinion but dress for the occasion.

If someone walked around in a thong showing off their muscles in the gym i would think there was something wrong with them. I thought the poll ment when posing and if that is the case then i wouldnt think it was gay or out of place. Outside of posing when you are at the gym cover it up. Someone like me that isnt so huge his ass bulges, def doesnt want to see a man's bulging ass when doing squates.

I have naturally large and wide butt, proud of it too
I love your comment. Yes, and I wear spandex at the gym to show off what I got.Nylon running shorts in the summer, I get them custom made. And I am very proud of my breasts too, wear nylon shirts, that show off my breasts really good, they are natural 46FFF, and my waist is 31 inches, hips 47 inches because of wide sexy butt that is tight but jiggly too, part of being feminine.I am really proud. I keep getting my photos pulled because they show the stuff I have worked so hard to show. Glad you posted this.

So very proud of my very feminine body Stats: 46FFF Bust, 30 inch waist, 47 inch hips, cause of super wide hips and nice round bubblebutt. Work out hard too, making me so very sexy and my butt really tight, butt jiggly too, part of being feminine. It is really great to have a really stunning hourglass figure, don't wanna be size 3. All the really huge muscular guys really love my figure, tell me too.

The gym really isn't the place to be flaunting what you got. I think the biggest complains people have about the gym is "that guy" or "that girl" that dresses like you're describing just to get a little attention. I mean, newcomers are almost always shy about going to the gym, Imagine if they saw a bunch of people all walking around in spandex with their bulges hanging out, it'd pretty uncomfortable.

It doesn't bother me what others wear at all. Spandex on a guy doesn't bother me, although I wouldn't wear it.
The way you posted all of that, sounds like you may be wanting to check out some packages for yourself while in the gym.
Joking ofcourse..

i deffinatly dont have any problem with people wearing what ever they want but i do feel that people are way to sensetive about this nowadays, if some girl goes out in shorts only fit to be a belt and a top bearly covering her nipples then its fine as is someone covering up. Its no ones place to change this. No hating and not being biased just saying my opinion love to all lol

I make a point of not giving a **** what people wear at the gym. There's a guy who works out real early, even earlier than I do - he's usually finishing up before I'm warmin' up.. anyway, he's rollin around 7am in a leotard. What you goin to say though - he's a dedicated lifter, bigger and stronger than me. Real nice attitude too - never throws down or tries to show off.
Which takes me to my next point - as long as people are decent, and are in the gym with a humble attitude - you should be cutting them some slack, even if their ass cheek is hangin' out.
Except those real old bastards who play with their dicks in front of each other in the steam room. I'm going to get the ice cold bucket of water on them one of these days. That will be my crowning glory. Kill me after that, I will no longer care.

Hahaha to the nice penis bit.
I agree with the fact that the human body is a beautiful thing and that its not obsence and its overhyped etc.
BUT.......
Let me tell you, i hate it, when im walking into the lockeroom/ change room,
and i walk straight into a but naked 40 year old playing with his knob.
Or a guy bending over in front of my head butt naked when im trying to get changed at the bench. Cuz i dont like guys, not even a bit.
Also the last thing i want to see is you in your spandex, doing squats or lunges next to me, who are you superman? at least wear undies on the outside spandex man.

I voted no and yet when I go to the gym I see really big clothes on mostly men and for women that are wearing your spandex stop feeling on yourself and looking behind you were not staring.

Ah this whole thing is just a big slippery slope.... Who defines "tasteful" or "accpetable". Those terms or too relative and subjective to use in a debate like this. Eurpean men and women have a reputation for showing more body while American's don't necessarily (generally speaking). So what do you do? Well you have two options; 1. Do whatever you want regardless of the status quo and EXPECT people to be upset with it or 2. Go along with the status quo and not be as expressive as you'd like. There's a third option too, find a place that caters to your type, go there and live happily ever after.

yeah its awesome when the women wear something really revealing and their boobs are hanging out or shorts so short you can see everything, and they do quick head turns to try to catch you out, pretty sure they arent angry they just want to be flattered knowing we are looking.

I really don't know how I feel about this...
I agree with the people who say there is nothing hotter on a female than tight clothes that show off the hard work they have done, but at the same time I don't think women feel the same way about men.
I think I have a nice enough body where I can wear most types of clothing, but my girlfriend would laugh at me if I ever tried to wear spandex. If you are on the stage and being judged it’s totally fine, but otherwise there is nothing cool about men in tight pants.
Snug tops are ok, but personally I don’t like to work out in them. Concert T-Shirts with the sleeves cut off and baggy shorts for the win. I think what you wear depends largely on your goal. Right now I am bulking so I want clothes that make me feel big, when I am cutting I tend to wear smaller shirts etc.
Bottom line is: Wear what makes YOU feel comfortable and who really cares what people say/think.
Just a side note, girls in "hard tail" pants and oversized sunglasses are what I miss most about college.

x2.
It's all relative. People can wear what they want, be it baggy shorts or a full suit of Under Armor; whatever feels comfortable when you lift! I agree that the human body is a work of art, but no, I do not want everyone walking around in speedos. You don't need to go around almost naked for people to notice the hard work you've done in the gym. A short sleeve, good sized shirt and fitting jeans will also do the trick. But if you really want to walk around in nothing but a pair of short shorts, and become a walking sign that says "LOOK AT ME", go right ahead.

women should wear loose fitting sweatpants or shorts instead of spandex / tights so far up your ass crack we can see your ovaries its really distracting.
guys should wear whatever except spandex / tights we really don't want to see your man camel toe

I wouldn't say I am offended by what other people wear... but for myself it's a T shirt (baggier the better) and shorts.

I wouldn't really feel comfortable working out in a gym where everyone is in spandex with their "bulge" hanging out either. I always wear (somewhat) baggy t-shirts and jeans (shorts in the gym).

I miss my days in Germany when the wiffie and I could just go in the sauna buck nekid amongst all the other people. America is just too funny these days.
I mean, we (not me) complain about seeing cleavage in TV but we are going to teach Kindergardeners about boning. lulz. Believe me, it will only get worse in the future.
As far as clothes in the gym goes, I dont care what people wear (if anything)
but i think if you chose to go without garments, you should atleast be
curtious enought to clean your workspace after youre done!

While i dont have a problem with people being naked in the sauna
I have a huge problem with men being naked in the gym or as i said in the above post men wearing Spandex and having there bulge hanging out, or guys who wear tiny little runner shorts that shows the cheeks of there ass.
Its Disgusting and Inapropriate. And although i enjoy looking at good looking and fit woman who wear very little in the gym i still think its a distraction for some of them to be wearing almost nothing and they should cover it up a little bit. The key word here is Moderation, if you have to ask yourself "Should i wear this to the gym, is it appropriate" it probably not!!!

Nah bra. If he was gay he would prb say, "hey when your gym please dip your balls into my mouth"
just saying.
I agree with the op. People are so weird. Who cares if you see someones ass, tits, balls, cock. especially through their clothes. I guess if I was insecure it would bother me. But since I dont give a **** I think its fine. I think form fitting clothes look better than baggy clothes.
