Anybody else experiencing this?
Just to jump on the Stars & Stripes bandwagon, it seems impossible to me that there hasn't been a decision made on this yet? This is a make or break issue for MANY of the possible competitors and leaving the troops (little less, customers) in the blind doesn't make good business sense. In an economy where every dollar is important, how can you neglect such an important fan base?!
Alright, done. Off to bed (relatively) early tonight.

well i'm using the stars and stripes because its what i can get and if they dont want to endorse that then that is sad. could you imagine "MT does not support stars and stripes" lol i'm pretty sure they will accept it, I dont know how many of my marines use mt products its a big part of their profit i'm sure

I'm not being cocky, lol. I was just sayin. I know the first few pounds are the easiest and I will eventually plateau and have to work harder or/and adjust routines/diet. Thanks for the update is what I meant. I have come into this knowing I won't win but I will give it my best. I have to stay positive even if it comes off as cockiness.

You and I are in the same boat. It's been oatmeal for me every morning too. I switch between Plain big bucket oatmeal and instant flavored oatmeal so on the days I get the flavored it's a little bonus.

I add flax seed, half a banana, splenda and some walnuts to mine usually. Sometimes I add sugar-free maple syrup and walnuts/pecans instead. I'm not a big cinnamon fan but I've read that it's good for the metabolism so I add it sometimes as well. Not as good as the sugary, pre-portioned package, but a lot less guilt!

Good deal, I noticed a pretty quick drop since the 1st also. I was wondering if something was up but it looks like a few of you have dropped considerably also.

Wow! Your doing great. Guys like you are really keeping me on my game. I'm not a seasoned vet like some of you but I will try my hardest. I'm not doing the 7-8 meals thing yet but I may have to when my weight stalls out.
Good Luck

That's really good advice. Low potassium can be a real Mutha. I had a splitting headache at work once and ended up passing out and when I woke up in the Emergency room the Doc told me I had a really low level of potassium and that was why I took a nap. Eating some walnuts help keep your magnesium levels up too and helps with cramping.

I stir in a scoop of banana cream flavored protein powder after it's cooked (don't add while cooking) and stir in some walnuts....taste like nanna nut bread! You get some extra protein and a shot of omega 3's!

S and S
I saw a post from Victor......I dont know how to make it apart of my reply, but it seems that Stars and Stripes is a GO! I am so glad.....I read it and had a great chest and back workout... I am finally back repping 405 on bench. I am so amped and ready to complete this transformation. I feel like I have something to prove now! To get dissappointing news and now it great news.... I will be more dedicated to have the opportunity to compete now! I will not let this well deserved chance got to waste. I feel like Eminem... I only have 1 shot, I will not miss my chance to blow! Good luck to everyone and thanks for the support...and MT thanks for the opportunity. TeamFace!

I should also add....
I should also add that as far as having a problem with cramps you should look into taking a really good multi vitamin. I believe our contest sponsors make an excellent one.
I have a question for MT or one of the reps or just anyone in general who is in the know. I'm using NaNo Vapor and I'm curious....is it ok to use my shaker cup to mix it or should I continue to stir it as I have. Seems silly but some other mfg. of comparible products suggest you don't use a shaker cup. I don't know why...guess it's gonna explode or some crap!
Also since I'm putting in 2 workouts a day would it be ok to take it before both workouts...I've just been using it in the morning.
Oh BTW I wanted to say that the Nano Vapor really kicks ass. I've been very pleased with the pumps and especially the focus it's given me. I've tried lots of other pre-workout supps...who shall remain nameless...and they never lived up to the hype. NaNo Vapor actually does what it says. Way to go MT!!

diet and training
Start jan 1 diet at 206 now at 198.4...I will probably have to bump up my carbs once a week starting in about 2 weeks so I don't flatten out...training is going good...heavy duty alt with 20min of hit cardio throughout the week...I have a slower metablosim but this is the first time I've follow a serious diet since about 3years ago in the army...I plan on coming in around 175-180 at about 4-6percent bodyfat...I probably will only use that 12 weeks depending if I reach peak early as planned so I don't have to diet for a full 20weeks or whatever it is...how is everybody else on progress..I can help with diet just pm me but any new advice on training would be great I can always learn new things to mix up training when things get stale...good luck!

first meal of the day, you dont have to be so serious with it. you have the whole day to burn calories. oatmeal is a great source of energy but seeing as you still got 17 weeks you dont have to go plain. there are some really good oatmeals out there. i use a high fiber cinammon swirl. Also, dont be scared to add a little sugar. after a long night of fasting your body is catabolic. a good scoop of whey to protect the muscles and some simple sugars should spike the body insulin levels up and get you set up for the start of a successful day

You look like one to watch out for...
Layoff suck ( i took off a couple months due to pec tear) but there is nothing more motivating then getting back into the swing of things...it seems to give people more drive then ever. Good luck!

Just wanted to say hey to all of you guys. I haven't had time to get in here and post my pics yet but I did finally get them onto my bodyspace. I just wanted to wish all of you good luck in reaching your goals for this contest.

I have always thought Friday and Saturday nights in the gym are the true measure of devotion when it comes to people who claim they are big into fitness. Maybe that makes me a looser, but at least I know that if I am seeing less than amazing results its not due to me slacking off and missing a workout. It doesnt mean you have to give up your life-you just need to make yourself make time.
