I think I got around 15 credits for Basic and AIT. Apparently my school isn't that reputable ;-)
Go WOFT, being paid to learn how to fly a helicopter is badass. I may be baised though.
I used to be a combat engineer. I wouldn't suggest doing it. I never did any AD work as one though. So maybe its different than what I was exposed to. Those guys work to hard. Pounding pickets ain't fun. But blowing stuff up was a blast (no pun intended).
EDIT:
Plus it only takes about 3 months to get 15 credits in college.

Please drop in on the link, and don't be scared off by the $100+ donations already in place. If a whole bunch of you guys chipped in just $10 or $20, it would add up for the families of these fallen heroes. And if nothing else, this is your chance to send a future junior officer into the dead of winter to freeze his ass off for a few days
www.firstgiving.com/arrowhead135
Today's donations have taken them well over the half-way mark. . .
Quote:
Midshipman 2/C Luke Finney and I, Midshipman 3/C Blaine Tonking, will compete in the 2009 Arrowhead 135 Ultramarathon held this February. Each competitor is given 60 hours to traverse 135 miles by foot pulling a sled containing all necessary gear and clothing. The Arrowhead 135 is held on the Arrowhead Trail bordering northern Minnesota and Ontario, Canada, where temperatures can average -20 to -40F. This event serves as a true test of character and moral, mental, and physical fortitude.
Our reason and ultimate goal for running this race is to collectively raise $10,000 in honor of fallen warriors through the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The SOWF provides free scholarship grants, financial aid, and educational counseling to the children of Special Operations personnel of all services who have been killed in an operational mission or training. Additionally, the SOWF works through the Wounded Warrior Foundation to facilitate immediate needs their families face when special operations personnel are hospitalized from severe wounds suffered in combat. Offering assistance to the families through donations will help support these children of true American heroes.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

Raised my right hand once again today.
12 month "Try One" contract for the Indiana National Guard. Reclassing as a 25 series, most likely into a 25B20 slot, which will promote me, as well.
Found an apartment too! Things are going well.
I ETS next Thursday and am stoked =D

I'm only a couple credits short, so here's the plan.
Go back in as an Engineer, which I'm not fond of and would never suggest for anyone, than drop my WOFT packet after I finished the extra courses. If I don't get picked up in the first year I'll drop my SF packet but in the mean time I'm trying to end up at Leonardwood so Sapper school will be right around the corner.

Please post in the thread above if you support the idea of having a whole separate subsection of the Misc. for the Military.

Hello friends.
Just wanted to say it's been fun. I'm going to message the admin and ask to have my account deleted.
There is too much bull**** and too many wannabes (this is mostly relating to the military areas) and it just drives me crazy, because I am not someone who looks the other way, rather I call these people out. And to be arguing on internet forums is ridiculous.
I also think posting here has been taking up too much of my free time, especially with how little I have due to my work schedule.
That being said, I'll just go back to browsing the workout/nutrition areas as a guest.
Those of you who already have my contact info, I'll probably be talkign to you.
Stay safe everyone.

Honestly, I really don't think so.
BB.com is just the sinkhole I use to occupy free time. I've realized that a lot of that free time I could spend being more productive. The remainder of it I can waste in other ways. I had time wasters before BB.com, and there will be some after it.

I've gotta do it, brah. I've got an addictive personality sometimes, and I'm sure I could leave the board for a while, but sooner or later I will poke my head in, then I will make a post, then I will make 100, and so on.
Hell, I think something like 60% of my posts have been made in the last 3 months. I should be devoting my board time to more gym time, and other things.

Can't say that I blame you, I have an addictive personality myself, I ended up disconnecting my TV and Interner just so I could rejoin the real world, it's quite releaving. You can keep dial up around for emergencys, you can never get addicted on dial up.
Take it easy bro, maybe I'll see you around in the real world.
