I'm not gonna be logging my workouts and food hardly at all compared to like last time because I don't need to anymore to know what works. For me right now, it's just a matter of practicing what I know by heart for the next 6 months to get the results I want. Simple as that.

I weighed in on my scale at 201 this morning. My scale is a little low I think, because even though the morning weight was taken post-piss pre-breakfast, my PWO weight at the gym was like 213. I'm not sure which weight to take. Maybe gym scale post-piss pre-breakfast someday? lol

And I don't think you'll win this challenge. I'm in the zone, baby. Even turned down one of those big-ass black and white cookies just now.

I thinkI got this one.....lol 6 days will be easy, I will post my macro's for the day each night. I count calories. I liketo keep my calories at 2500. I like my carbs and fat moderate, and my protien high, but for know, my macros will be skewed a bit, till we can afford more chicken...lol Here is day 1's totals(cal/pro/carb/fat)and 90% of my carbs are my pre and post workout carbs. Fat was WAY TOO HIGH today, it wont be like taht tomorrow. I fixed my son a couple of hotdogs and he didnt want them, my wife didnt want them, adn I sure wast gonna throw them away. I got a good 2500 in today, it wont be that high tomorrow.

(cal/pro/carb/fat)

I've got what I eat daily logged on thedailyplate.com

I dont add what I eat everyday, I just use the one day that I did do it and alter it from there. Heres a screen capture from it:

Macro %s are nearly 40/40/20
I think its PCF 41/39/20, either way damn close.
Only update is a MINISCULE less amount of rice on my last meal.

Holy Frijoles......there is no way I'm gonna catch up on posts tonight...wtf...the thread did explode and that's great !

WELLLLLLLLLCOME !!!! to the newbies and the not so newbies ....even Dream Team captain JonB is here...awesome!

Hey Carl ! I lost my christmas weight :P nah nah

Cam good to see you are back at it. Takes a lot of planning at first but once you find a menu you can easily maintain it won't be so bad. If bored, change one or two foods.

It's nearly Day 8 in the contest and today wasn't so hot. I did stay under 1500 cals as I have every day but they weren't the most efficient cals (too much complex carb, not enough protein). Still working out most though.

Glad to hear that you found out you are prediabetic, it is good to find that out now, then when you are a full blown diabetic. You can do something about it. I honestly think I got something wrong with either my thyroid and/or blood sugar levels. I get some weird things going on sometimes. I am gonna haveto man up and get to a doctor for some bloodwork. Buh. My Mom, and an aunt are have both thyroid problems plus diabetic, my grandpa and grandma on my moms side both were diabetics adn my grandma had a thyroid problem too. So, I am kinda wondering

in my opinion its more of an inconvience than a problem. . .thyroid can be fixed with meds most of the time, like 99%, and it will go away. and diabetes, well it is a problem. . .but type 2 is managable with meds, but it never goes away. yeah, if you havent been checked you could have hypothyroidism, it pretty much shuts down your metabolism! so if you gained excessive weight quickly, its a good chance. i flat out asked my doctor if i did it to myself and he was blunt and said yes, but everything is reversible i went soon enough and im being proactive! good luck and yeah definetely be proactive in your health!

Pro, at 335 I was told I was prediabetic...Heck, my doctor even took the time to write me the prescribtion because he was so sure I would need by the time I came back!
I was about to have to take 2 insulin shots every day!

50 lbs later...never had to take that prescription to a pharmacy!

You can do it, just have to want to do it!

No workout today, far too much going on.

Unless carrying a screaming, wriggly four-year-old home counts as exercise? My daughter's heavy, especially when she's throwing a hissy fit

I'm both happy and disapointed. Today was my cheat meal, and I had some lean pockets (Surpreme pizza) and a cherry coke, some gummy worms and butterfinger (Bit excessive, i know) and it didn't even taste that good, or do anything for me I guess you could say. I'm happy, because this means im getting in the mindset of food is fuel and I won't be craving this **** as much, but im also disapointed because i've been looking forward to this so much and it's a bit of a let down, LOL

I am out......

whatever i did monday night (see prior posts), i re-injured and more severely last night. I was such a dumbass for even going, did 2 sets of bb military press and just destroyed my lower back on my right side, not sure if its a lower lat tear or possibly a cracked rib but its unbelievably painful. I tried to do at least treadmill after that and i just could not, barely could get in the car to get home. I could not sleep for **** last night and can barely walk, sit or do anything. Can't even pull my pants up!

I am upset cause it could be several weeks or longer now before i can resume working out. I was making such great progress too.

I'm not part of this thread, but I've been reading it and felt awful when I read your post! You know what though, if you continue to eat really well you should still see great results. I'm sure you're really upset about not being able to workout though. Hopefully you've already been to the doctor's to get it checked out.

thanks, no dr. yet, still deciding on going or not, i hate the dr or hospitals etc.

I only pray it eases up enough in a week or whatever that i can at least hit the treadmill. I definitely have to eat really good now.

If you can continue to diet, you will still lose weight. I know from experience when you are hurt, it is hard to eat well, it makes you feel worse. But taking weight off is gonna make whatever you hurt, hurt less with less weight on your body. I dont wanna see you quit. Stick around.

God I feel like shooting myself now. I know I let myself go but I can't believe I let it go this bad. I weighed in at a whopping 288 pounds this morning. That's just pathetic.

Good news is that I had my first workout again for like the first time in eight months and it felt amazing so that much of my day has gone so far.

Time to forget the past and pave the wave for a bright future starting today.

Thats right....I've had so many failed attempts and failures, but that don't matter, I'm doing it now, and so are you! I don't care if your 500 pounds, your still here and we're improving as a group.

I know you said you hate doctors, but you need to get it checked out. Might not be as bad as you think and maybe some meds could help you recover faster. I know if my wrist is still bothering me by the next of next week im going to get it checked out.

you know i am not quitting, just disappointed right now. I am going to eat clean. It sucks that it can take 6-7 weeks to take off 20lbs and then you could easily put it right back on in half that time. Your so right about the weight, part of makes it so hard is all this fat around my stomach etc pulling on my back.

What really bothers me is when i am feeling back to normal i will be scared to go back to heavy weight for fear of re-injuring myself
