Was wondering if any one is going to post any progress pics during the contest or are you just gonna wait till the end and bust out the new you?
I'm kind of torn....I think it could be more dramatic to wait till the end plus I don't know if it would be a good idea to show the competition to much if ya know what I mean.
At any rate I'm sure I'll be taking some just for my own reference but I'm not sure I'll post any.
I do see the pros to waiting at least a while in between pics. I did some on the 1st and then again on the 4th. Still torn on how I should update. I will be updating stats every couple of days though.
create a photobucket account, its free. load pictures from your computer and photobucket will display the code for each picture to post in a forum, its the one that starts with [IMG]

anyone started messing around with an essay? 250 words is pretty short, really. i know they dont want to read a book but i wonder what they'll do if an essay exceeds the maximum wordage?

The Training articles are great on here, I found out I was doing a few lifts wrong as well as what to look out for if I start finding that the elliptical bike is not working well as my cardio exercise.
I have a long way to go starting out at 207lbs 5'7" with a bf of 38%. But, I am working on a huge transformation. I definitely wont have the best set of well defined muscles, but I am hoping to look good by the end of the contest.

I'm working on the Group site and how we can utilize it's benefits. It will be very helpful in the long run.

This is a transformation contest....not a bodybuilding contest. A person that goes from way out of shape to looking like you do now, will probably have a better shot to win then you going from ripped to way ripped!

If you can't train 3 times a day, then you need to make sure you are doing serious HIIT for your second cardio session for sure! 3 times a day is really just a number, not an amount of time trained.....the third session for me was a small amount of work and just a finishing type of cardio or exercise!
You can do this man....no quitting already....put a picture of a new car on your mirror so you can see what 25K actually buys you....every morning it will motivate you!

Are you in it this year? Your back is ripped in that pic. I'm just doing an hour of weight lifting then later in the day I do between 30-45min cardio. I will increase as needed month to month.

The Before and After Pictures must comply with each of the following requirements:
(a) all Pictures must be taken with the same lighting and background; (b) Pictures must be taken in multiple poses, including front relaxed, back relaxed, abs and thigh, most muscular, and side chest; (c) all Pictures must be taken with you wearing the same color and style of clothing; (d) you must have substantially the same hair-style and (if applicable) makeup in each Picture; (e) one (1) of the Before Pictures and one (1) of the After Pictures must show you holding a national newspaper with the date clearly visible; (f) additionally, one (1) of the Before Pictures and one (1) of the After Pictures must be a close-up photograph of the national newspaper with the date clearly visible and (g) only you and no one else may appear in the Picture. Additional technical requirements for the Pictures are set forth on the entry page.

Yes, you need to have all the before poses and then all the same after poses in progress section. (Not sure about the forum they did that part different this year.). Same as last year, or if your new now you know.

My wife cannot handle me being on bodyspace and is upset that she had to find out about my bodyspace after the fact when she found out I was training for this challenge.
In order to do the MuscleTech Challenge, I had to have a bodyspace profile.
Bodyspace is something that she will never put up with because the tone has turned from a wholesome, fit, oriented site to softcore porn.
My last bodyspace I commented to various people/women when I should have respected my wife by not commenting at all. It was very disrespectful of me to do that.
Part of the terms for us working it out was to not have a bodyspace. But in order to do this we all must have a bodyspace profile.
My motive for doing this contest was to make a life change. To change my physique and pass my PT test. To look great for my wife...
Im in the military stationed somewhere that I hate...the weather sucks, people can be rude.
Sometimes I feel like an outsider here.
Because I hated this place I locked myself in my apartment after work. Instead of working out, I stayed in watching TV. Because I hated the gyms here, I made every excuse not to workout. I even made excuses because I didnt like the weather. All I did was pretty much eat. Eat because I was bored, eat because I hated bing here, ect..
And then when I saw that there was going to be another bodybuilding.com/bodyspace/muscletech challenge, it renewed this fire in me.
All along, I made excuses for everything. Now instead of accepting mediocrity, I choose to change and better my way of living and getting back on track with life.
People have a choice in life while they are still living. I choose to be the best I can be and not accept that this is all there is to be accustomed to. I chose to make it better for me.
And I hope you guys do the same.
If I had won this challenge, I would have given my wife the money because she was another of my motivations for doing this.
Now she said she is through with me because of this and because she has lost all trust in me
Im still going to do this challenge ... she is still my inspiration and motivation. Hopefully she will come back to me...that is my hope.
